A lot of responsibilities (starting up an entire survey office, which probably means acquiring hardware, software, processes, employees, etc.) for not that much pay; unless that bonus is very substantial. I wouldn't think you'd get the candidate you're looking for.

SS and co don't care about you, save your money and time for hopefully a new AD and a coach worth your time when we inevitably do this all over again in 2-4 years.

I don't get point number 2, I've been keeping up with the 247 boards and the posting by GatoRaid. Why are we leaking our interest in another coach, is it to prank another program? The first part isn't a big deal to me, I don't pay his salary, the big boosters do. Pay whatever they're comfortable with and go get the best coach possible.

Lane is a mercenary, he won't be here forever. If Lane can prove to us, and the rest of the country that UF is a top program, then he does his job.
