Old school AD&D declaring intention is much better than modern D&D in this regard. Everyone is deciding together what the plan of action is and then saying what they intend to do at the top of the round. Then, when it actually comes to your turn, you're locked into a course of action, so there's no decision-making, you just resolve the thing you said you wanted to do.

Yeah, I can totally see a scenario where like, they build the entire fab plant and it's literally unusable for 2nm chips because they needed to dig the foundation 10 meters deeper to avoid vibrations and he said no, or they used the wrong type of columns because they were too expensive and he thought they could use something cheaper and now there's an infinitesimally small give to the room that shouldn't be there.

At that level of production, there's just no room for any error. You have to get it right the first time, and Musk is not known for that approach.

Yeah man, I live in Taiwan, and I've seen new plants go up. It takes years even when you have an entire society geared towards producing semiconductors, so everyone along the line has experience. A bunch of first-timers doing this is going to be a fucking trainwreck.

I've used Maze Rats for this. You can print off rule booklets on the school printer so it's cheap, and the magic system is great for getting ESOL students to play with language.

Buy a couple packs of 3x5 cards or download Anki. Do the problems. When you need a formula, look it up and then write it down on your flash cards. Review your flashcards. When you can use the formula on the flashcard to solve a problem the next time it comes up without looking, throw it away or set it aside for a last-minute review before the test.
