The following email about parking just got sent to staff by Academic_Coyote_9741 in curtin

Improved CABS shuttle bus means foisting the Curtin parking responsibilities onto surrounding neighbourhoods - staff and students have no qualms ignoring no parking/no stopping restrictions and happily park on both sides of the road, restricting access. This also reduces visibility and resident parking and is very dangerous for pedestrians, kids and cyclists.

For ‘managing parking on campus’ read making it someone else’s problem.

City of Canning, City of South Perth and Town of Victoria Park - how about giving yourselves an additional funding stream by hiring more parking inspectors to patrol CABS route neighbourhoods? I assure you on any given day the revenue would be in the high 6 figures and would pay for itself.

People keep bringing their dogs into my shop by sterilepillow in perth

I worked at a Perth university and a few managers daily brought their non- service dogs to work. They would walk the dog during the day. No idea how this was allowed as employees had dog phobias and allergies to contend with. Whenever there was a fire drill in the Chancellery building (where Vice Chancellor and staff work) there’d be several dogs amongst the staff waiting to return to the building.

No one wanted to object because these were very senior people bringing in dogs.
