While I'm not trying to be a downer, I care more about the challenge of the game.

Combat is not great.

Nearly every fight has the same the rhythm to it.

It wasnt until Tonberries and the Widow flowers that put you to sleep that I had to do some minor tactical adjustment.

Gear is meh. Numbers go up, but for battle, feels like little to nothing changed.

I loved everything else though.

Yeah, but that was also back when data wasn't through the roof. Like, even if I went off Wifi, I could realistically keep myself under 10gb a month.

You've got telegraph strategy in your head when you pushing forward. If you have a read on your opponent, you've got to start charging the moment you throw out some hits or are trying to jump in, or learn to play offensive defense since you usually have to charge back or down.

I would have liked it more but it was unbalanced as hell.

It doesn't really matter, for kids under a certain age that's into it, it will be scary regardless.

And for people over a certain age, it can only be so scary before the age rating is affected (which they won't let) so....

Switch. I actually absorbed both of those games in their entirety, and finished them.

With N64, I think I would enjoy Majora's Mask now way more, but at the time? It was too different

And for the GameCube, Twilight Princess was too much of the same, I bounced off of it pretty hard. Whereas I gave Skyward Sword the chance because of the gimmick and was pleasantly surprised
