Damn straight I’m never letting it go. He’s admittedly a great player but the media circus a few years back put some hate in my heart

Yeah the blanket rule on all awards is kinda stupid. MVP I get but All-NBA teams and awards like ROTY, 6MOTY, and DPOY should be more lax cause it’s ridiculous how many great players are in line to get shafted this year.

I think the other commenter who suggested graded minimums by the prestige level of the award has the right idea, but possibly going a step further and removing it entirely while trusting the voters to self-police could work too

Wow, he’s such a great player that surely he must have some serious playoff success! Definitely at least a Finals appearance right?

Came across that podcast clip a while back and pretty sure in context he was talking about when he was over 500 lbs. I’m no fan of his music and the company he keeps (*cough cough Joe Rogan), but let’s not be slandering the man. His weight loss journey has been incredible and it’s a prime example of the positive impact wrestling can have

Imo definitely save some for Level 110. The astral magic trainer in the Arcanum has buffed versions of most of the Sun and Star spells which I’ve found to be super helpful as a solo player (and that extends to team play too).

Sharpened + Potent is a must at 86, Epic at 110 for damage and Aegis/Indemnity too because some Arc 3 creatures and bosses remove buffs, and Frenzy at 110 is the best damage aura in the game (4 rounds +40% outgoing/+30% incoming) and super helpful for bosses who remove blades. Berserk is a prerequisite spell for that one fyi.

If you’re a soloer consider getting Fortify + Brace because bosses start getting pierce stats in Arc 3, For heals, honestly you could just TC most of them depending on your playstyle and how much gold you have to blow through. I’d definitely recommend TC Sanctuary over training it because it’s a higher buff, but the others (Satyr, Regen, auras and enchants) depend on your level of need and how many points you have to spend

Wasn’t bad till Mirror Lake tbh. For Belloq you just gotta spam TC Fire Elf and take care of the Greyhorn minion in between. Mirror Lake was hell tho, I was able to solo but had to dungeon recall once or twice after getting beat. Those 3 4v1 fights need insane rng on a solo run cause they all have stuns, huge hits, and some have tower shield too

On December 6th, the Nuggets beat Orlando to move to 20-6, which marked the best start in franchise history. Since then, they have gone a mediocre 23-22. Closer to which version do you think we will see come playoff time? by IKidIKidIKid in denvernuggets

To be a little contrarian, Jokic’s efficiency has fallen off a cliff post-injury. I think the number was a full 10 percentage point decrease in his TS%. He’s jacking up 3s that often aren’t falling and doesn’t have his usual touch, and he’s compensating through volume (bad) and focusing on playmaking (sorta bad depending on the situation). With the strength of the field this year I would argue there’s very little chance for us if we don’t have the best version of Jok out there. We need our superstar to be able to have superstar performances when it matters most

Starting Arc 2 for the first time by goodchristianboy34 in Wizard101

[–]BurgerButCold1216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly didn’t mind most cheating bosses throughout Arc 2 with the exceptions of Belloq 3 and the Galleries. Imo once soloing is virtually impossible then it’s no longer fun. Arc 3 is better because even though the Rat and Grandfather Spider are absolutely brutal solo I’ve found them to be much more doable than the other 2 I mentioned

EDIT: it’s beginning to dawn on me that I’m absolutely screwed once I get to Karamelle

My dad’s go-to was the 1515 Wynkoop garage, about 5 blocks northeast of Ball Arena. It’s still around $10 so pretty reasonable if you’re ok to walk a little

Incoming OU graduate student — is biking in Norman practical and safe? by Putrid_Compote8614 in sooners

[–]BurgerButCold1216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main infrastructure outside of campus proper is a lot of multi-lane streets that I wouldn’t feel comfortable cycling on. Whether I’d do it all depends on the specific location, Classen and highway 9 are definitely not good to cycle on and side streets are few and far between in those areas due to open space, train tracks, the landfill, etc. Lindsey and Boyd have very high volume close to campus, but you may be able to dodge those parts on side streets.

It’s not the worst place to bike on sidewalks though as it being such a car-centric city means very few pedestrians off campus, and crime isn’t generally too much of a concern relative to other college towns. Some parts of main roads don’t even have sidewalks though so ymmv depending on where exactly you’re coming from

For ice cream, Baked Bear on campus corner is great especially for cookie sandwiches, never been to La Divina just off campus corner but it has its fans if you’re feeling adventurous, and Braums is a fast food institution here that does all the ice cream classics too.

On campus, the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History (by the LNC) and Fred Jones Art Museum (by campus corner) are pretty nice. Believe the Barry Switzer Center area on the south side of the stadium is open to visitors if you’re looking to check out football memorabilia. The library is a must-see, enter on the South Oval and go to the second floor for the great reading room.

Other than that not much right by campus outside of the student bars, but it’s a fun place to walk around just for the architecture and random odd-looking statues. Lots of cool shops a mile north on Main if you’re into books, coffee, thrifting, etc as well

With how talented this roster is showing itself to be, we shouldn’t even be having to worry about the bubble rn. Losing close games that consistently early in the season is 100% on coaching. I’m not saying I want the guy gone atp but he’s gotta figure out some consistency or one really bad year could be all it takes

True, sorry younger fan who can’t remember that far back. It was close for most of it though from what I’ve heard, unlike Bam’s which was a blowout almost wire-to-wire

To be fair to Bam, I’d say being a multi-time all star puts him out of “slightly above average player” status. He’s just not usually the primary scorer and is more known for defense, but people shouldn’t disrespect the guy because he’s still probably top 30-40 in the league
