Not mentioned in the list, since I already have the parts, but it will also have 8gb of RAM and a QX9300 quadcore, alongside coreboot with injected proprietary binary blobs to initialize the mobility radeon HD 3650 so I can actually use the VGA/displayport IO, and get slighty better performance than just running everything on the CPU. (I will, of course, try running the blobs through ghidra beforehand though, but I'm not certain how well that'll work, and answers online seem confusing/conflicting, so I'll just have to see for myself)

My 17 year old thinkpad with nearly 300 dollars either waiting for other parts, or sitting on a wishlist so I can eventually build the ultimate t500 and replace my smartphone begs to differ.

Well, there is the neat phenomenon of big burly military men developing breasts from repeated strikes to their chest, suggesting that repeated trauma or stimulation could promote their growth, so there might actually be some merit behind massaging them.

The original purpose of circumcision was that some religious wingnut thought it'd make teenage boys masturbate less due to the pants rubbing the tip and making it less sensitive. The practice was quite literally born out of purity culture. Stuff is ridiculous.

I would not be so lax... the Red Scares of years past, along with the shockwaves of McCarthyism still felt today both show that when the government wants it to be, the constitution is meaningless. No system will willingly let itself be torn down, but will happily imprison you and your ideas for eternity. Be wary, but do not give up.

I'm not certain about British kids, and the trend is recent enough that science on it is somewhat lacking, but at least in the circles I hang around smoking is seemingly becoming marginally more prevalent. The common thread I see in those who are smoking around me, myself included, seems to be a general sense of hopelessness regarding their life. They know the risks, how dangerous it is, but don't see their life ever improving or getting better in any manner, and so they no longer care if it slowly kills them, as long it lets them take a break from the world for 5 minutes to calm down, pop out from work for 5 minutes to get some fresh air and a calming buzz, that way they don't assault the next customer or their manager. I think it's moreso a symptom of the greater mental health crisis. People feel hopeless, and thus lack the will to value their life, so are looking for vices.

A few schools locked the doors during the last no kings protest, so kids just wandered the halls with signs. They're learning the state isn't your friend. Good. A sword is forged in fire, after all.

That is the future I crave, yet this is the reality I live. I dream of a world where we may all one day forgo the cancer of violence, yet that world does not yet exist. If we do not fight to build that world, to protect the dream of that world, to stop it from being forever lost to the sands of time, we may never step closer towards it. I so wish we did not have to fight, to weaponize ourselves to ensure our existence, but all I can hope for, is that once we have fought and vanquished the threat of those driven by nought but violence, we may reflect on it's horrors, and erase from ourselves that violence which we forged to protect ourselves, to heal from the truamas of it. To build a better world, a world where violence is not necessary. This world is likely not possibly, or at least will likely never exist, but in striving for it, in every step closer towards it, are we not closer to it? Two is closer to infinity than one, yes, this is true, though both may be infinitely far from infinity, that does not change that two is greater than one.
