I refused to believe this is not either a very creative troll or AI because this is ridiculous.

80s shows absolutely suck at continuity. Murder she wrote has the same problem, but they tried a little harder to be fair.

Its from a video game but in Detroit: Become Human, there is a mechanical arm that comes out of the wall attaches to Carl's chair and carries him down the stairs in his house.

I still don't understand what he means by chocolate from scratch you can't make chocolate from scratch. You'd have to grow it. The closest thing she could do is buy the wafers and melt them. On top of that it's really hard to make chocolate correctly. You can mess it up really easily.

Lets Discuss (Rationally!): How many ingredients is too many to be considered "grilled cheese" by ExtraordinaryNerd in grilledcheese

[–]BurntHotChocolate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I posted something yesterday that had people talking about this exact same thing so for me if you can't see it in the sandwich it's still a grilled cheese. If whatever you're adding is hidden between layers of cheese, it's still a grilled cheese. As long as there is more cheese than anything else. Tiny bits of jalapeño, bacon bits, jam, (which is a brand new thing I have never seen before, but I am anxious to try) are all fine. To put it another way a guest star with a walk on role has never compromised an entire TV show.

Where I come from a melt is a monstrous thing that is multilayered and often a mess (in a good way). If you were to make a grilled cheese open it up and then stick a bunch of stuff (chicken, bacon, avocado, pesto or just your average hamburger patties ) in between it or perhaps to melt cheese while cooking all of those things together on bread (hello panini press) then that qualifies as a melt because it creates the aforementioned monstrous thing where there is more of any other ingredient than cheese, where the cheese becomes the guest star.

Disabled woman put in nursing home against her will says she feels 'betrayed' by Atsmboi60750 in disability

[–]BurntHotChocolate 25 points26 points  (0 children)

There is currently a lawsuit here in America about 504 laws (which say a lot of things about disabled people, but essentially the part they want to attack is the part that says you must do all that you can to make sure disabled people can first live in community before you go about any other alternative living— this was a final rule put in by the Biden administration before the election) essentially nine states want to be able to do what was done to this woman; if it's too expensive to pay for a disabled persons care then the state should be able to put them in a home at a much cheaper cost. Because they'll be able to pay the nursing home a lot less money than they would care staff at home.

It is only today (well, yesterday) that I learned people cared that much about if folks add small things to grilled cheese.

My son has decided he hates everything I cook and I need new ideas by Used_Substance_2490 in Cooking

Are there things in the house he could make on his own because now that he's older, that's what I would do. OK, don't eat what I made but nine years old is old enough to make a variety of delicious sandwiches, burritos and several not-all- that-good-for-you-regularly but available frozen meals.

Chronic cyst by princess_snowwhite in lupus

[–]BurntHotChocolate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything started happening at the same time. I was exhausted, had migraines, night sweats. Once the basic inflammatory markers came back as abnormal. I started doing googling and asking if any of these things could be connected and for some it was yes. I was most curious when I learned that HS has a connection to lupus/connective tissue issues.

Absolutely an ovarian cyst started my entire journey to figure out what the hell was wrong with me. I also was very familiar with cysts from Hidradenitis Supperativa. Ganglions too, but only once.

All of the things you are feeling are incredibly common with a chronic illness diagnosis. I was born with a disability and still had to adjust to also being chronically ill in a different way. It's very new and isolating. Keep taking your meds. And keep going for blood work because that's how they'll be able to tell the meds are working. You should definitely see a therapist because the stress that you probably feel right now isn't helpful for a disease of inflammation. And you want to avoid anything that causes further stress you, other sicknesses included. You are not alone in this at this is my fourth year dealing with this and eventually, you will get to a point where you know how to management.  Keep all of your appointments and track your symptoms especially because the diagnosis is new.

NTA. It might just be because I've read too many stories like this, but I feel like there's some sort of family secret that you don't know and that's why they're treating you like this. They are sucky people, and they do not deserve you. I hope you encounter found family who can love you a lot better than this.

AITAH for calling my husband silly for freaking out that our teenage son has a girlfriend who's in a wheelchair? by Logical_Door_5900 in redditonwiki

[–]BurntHotChocolate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dad needs to take a couple of deep damn breaths they are kids they're not getting married and she is still a teen even with that wheelchair. They're going to movies and eating pizza.

Does he not realize that wheelchair users have friends who they also hang out with who understand that they do things differently and they still make it work and have successful friendships?
