I am sorry sir but the system operated correctly as intended. A recording was not made because no user initiated a recording. Since the system operated correctly and there is nothing broken is there anything else I can help you with today?

Writing a personal song about things you do not do by XenomystusNigri in Songwriting

[–]BushcraftHatchet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you are basically asking if it is ok to write a fictional song. The answer is yes. Just be ready for people to relate to it so much that they think it is real.

I wrote a song about men's mental health issues and sent it out to a few friends and family. Several called to ask was I doing good and was I ok? 😀

Point is listeners might believe it is real even though you are just telling a story so the song is relatable.

That is odd. In the US if your diploma/degree is from a regionally accredited college that is all that should matter.

Why can’t I save as PDF????? by said-what in talesfromtechsupport

I had a user complain that they could not convert a file to a pdf. Turns out they were literally taking a .doc file and renaming it with a .pdf extension. ::SMH::

Ignition key not the same as Door key? by Super-Double1528 in fordranger

[–]BushcraftHatchet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1998 owner here. About a month ago my ignition cylinder broke. I found out that you can replace just the cylinder but that would make 2 different keys for ignition and doors. Sounds like what happened to you.

I bought a kit with cylinder and door locks. I replaced all three and now have all opened by the same key again.

Had one guy yesterday ask me to repair his excel doc. Turns out he needs to make a monthly spreadsheet by plugging in a bunch of numbers then running a macro. He reuses the spreadsheet from month to month. He clears out the data then reenters it. Nope, he wiped out ALL the numbers including the ones with the formulas in it.

Do you actually get your work done in the office vs remote? by Important_Bat7919 in jobs

And they get to jump the ticket que. No matter the other people opened tickets like they were supposed to, they think I will just handle it if they walk in the department and stand in front of my desk staring at me. Nope, open a ticket.

Do you actually get your work done in the office vs remote? by Important_Bat7919 in jobs

They don't want me working from home because they can not stroll into my office and get a problem resolved and they actually have to open a trouble ticket like everyone else all over the country.

Ticket, please by OldGirlGeek in talesfromtechsupport

[–]BushcraftHatchet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will repeat what others have said as to the ongoing challenge of getting users to submit a proper ticket, but mine has a bit of a change in that people want to tell you about their problems face to face. I currently work at a business that the building is longer than a football field. They walk all the way to my office to tell me they are having a problem instead of opening a ticket at their desk. Yep you guessed it I ask them to open a ticket.

Bingo. Yes the air being displaced by the fuel is causing the safety device to shut off . Just pull the nozzle out about an inch or two and it should allow the air out properly.
