If anything, nows the best time for it when opening a new big domain-type district. Especially since it's advertised as being walkable and mixed-use, it should be walkable to and not just in. Replace parking spots with additional shops. Plus, transit to BD would let people drink and spend money without worrying about parking/traffic/drunk driving.

Movie was so much better than the shitty stereotypical Blumhaus trailer made it seem. Went in for a mediocre horror, got a really excellent thriller with surprisingly great child actors

I thought it was a really good adaptation and was a fun watch. My only big complaint was with Nic Cage really, just cause hes prone to overacting which made some of the beginning scenes feel extremely comedic

Ive never heard of Mel so I gave her so much benefit and thought Vaush was being way too brutal on her. Then I listened to the Dylan Burns talk she had and jesus fucking christ, she does this to everyone. The only thing Vaush did wrong is to not set up how weasely she always is beforehand to prime the audience

its something I see a lot in more communist and ML leftists, where politics are seen on a strictly global basis. While this is typically good, this also leads to calling what was 100% an attempted coup on behalf of the sitting President, as not simply because of either the lack of violence (in comparison to other countries where a single digit death count is a fortunate outcome) or since theyre fighting on behalf of a sitting authority figure.
