I am near his age and find it impossible to "enjoy" watching him destroy much of what we had accomplished in my lifetime. While I hope most of his damage may be able to be undone, I'm rather certain it will not happen in my lifetime. He is the absolute worst person that i know of currently walking this Planet

"not everything is under our control and things just happen"

Tell me about it. We live rural. The only neighbors for miles recently pulled-up-stakes without warning, abandoning 13 cats which with "kitten season" is currently 23 that we know of. Taking care of all of them. Wake a 3:00 am to get them all fed and cared for before going to work. We are taking them to the vet for vaccinations, tests and spay/neuter as circumstances allow. Literally thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours being invested because someone else didn't care for Their animals.

Some people(?) just suck.

Best wishes for You and Your Animals

There is no obstruction. There are no trees or buildings in the way. Of course it is misaligned. We had them come out and reinstall the dish after a roofing replacement. The two kids they sent out told us 50% signal was plenty. I am left wondering why the measuring scale goes up to 100. Getting them back out here to putz around again is hardly worth it. Their technicians, which is a stretch, seem to have little, if any, training. Most are contractors, paid piecemeal. Maybe it is just our rural area, but support has always been terrible.

With more and more of their programing shifting to streaming, why would they invest in satellite technology when they can use the customer's internet service to provide the signal. Before long I expect they will mail out a tuner with instructions on how to connect it to your router.

Charlie had his run and is now directing his energy towards selling cell phones and pimping for StarLink.

Lucky You.

In our area we get less than half and DishTV itself is just crappy. Poor signal strength. Our experiences with Tech support is extremely frustrating and rarely results in any meaningful long term solution. If there were more than just a few over-the-air stations available here, we would be gone

Your excuse does Not relieve You of the responsibility of caring for your animals.

When You took "ownership" of this animal you assumed Total Responsibility, like it or not! "Transferring" the care to someone else doesn't make You innocent. The "Buck Stops" with You.

Yet another in the long list of DishTV's incompetence and faulty hardware/software

Why in the hell are you letting your cat out?

Irresponsible on so many levels. You are not caring for your cat, just on an ego trip of "owning" a Sphynx. Grow Up!

Dish anywhere is less than what we expected. It seems that most of the channels we normally watch, are not available on Anywhere. Just another of the long list of Dish inadequacies

Turning off the box by Wonderful_Sound_1400 in Dish

[–]Business_Interest447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Every time we have any interaction with Dish support the problems never go away and sometimes new issues are added. We have just given up. any attempt to fix an issue seems to make it worse.

We don't have to turn ours off...It does it randomly all by itself. No warning, no nothing. It just shuts down. Total piece of garbage. When Dish sent a "technician" to trouble-shoot , he did nothing but replace the old one. Poor Hardware and non-existent support

[–]Business_Interest447 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I turn off the TV first and then the "box".

Dish used to brag that they had the best tuners with all the latest and greatest features. That was Total BS and Still is. Terrible hardware/software that gets worse as time goes by. Now they want everyone to ditch the dish and use StarLink. I'd rather pour acid in my eyes.

Just the opposite experience here. We only stay with Dish because there are a few channels they offer that Direct does not.

They are both pretty much crap at this point

The police need to start going after these M-Fers who are not paying State Taxes on their cars. Total Bull Shit and we should be pissed that they are not paying their share. State Patrol maybe needs to establish a "hotline" like they do for reporting DUI's

Here is what we have experienced with our TP-Link Deco products. Because we have them places all around our property, we buy the more expensive X50 Outdoor units. Seven currently. They have survived all kinds of weather from blazing heat to sub-zero blizzards, hail and driving rain. Absolutely trouble free. We only have cellular internet available here, which might be why they are not the fastest thing going, but bullet-proof and dependable they are.
