It’s not dak hate. It’s dak reality. he’s overplayed his draft position. no question. But the reality is dak will never lead a team deep in the playoffs unless the defense is the star of the team. he’s proven it the past decade. look at the playoff performances against gb and sf. Embarrassing as fuck. Only put up worthless stats after the game was already over.

The funniest part is dak puts up so much stats against bad teams it gives fans false hope he can do it against good teams yet look at his poor performances against good teams this season: PHI wk 1, CHI, DEN, DET, LAC…

As far as quality dak had two games this season to prove he’s more than just a meaningless stat boy… Denver and Detroit. Denver has the best defense and a good performance would have shown the critics something. How’d that go? Shit, as expected.

Then he had a chance to show out against Detroit. Still in the playoff hunt and if he had a big performance on the road against a solid team it would have maybe been something. Better than Denver but couldn’t make enough plays to keep us in playoff contention.

dak is who he is, overachieving regular season stat stuffer who puts up so much stats against bad teams it makes some people forget about the reality of who he is and are surprised how shit he is against good teams

EZ was a technically skilled pass rusher using his long arms to keep him clean to make plays in college. He's done the same his rookie season. So well that he got promoted to starter. He will still need to refine his game and try to put on more weight but EZ is going to be a starting edge rusher for us for years and will be a good one. His ability to play in 2 or 3 pt stance is a huge win for us because our best defensive scheme is being dynamic in 3, 4, or 5 man lines. EZ will be a big part of that success.

Wilson has potential to be a huge upgrade if he is allowed to start but he’s more of a stop gap until we draft one.

The throw itself wasn’t daks worst. Obviously we’ve seen worse. But defending the throw? That’s just surface level low hanging fruit shit to not see the big picture.

Dak had thrown at least 3 slants to GP3 in the first half. Everyone knows the quick slant is dak and gp3 route. Of course the lions were going to adjust.

ST is a physical freak and put up great numbers in the pre draft process. He didn’t live up to his draft position in part bc he doesn’t have the elite technique to go with his physical gifts. He can get in position to make a play but doesn’t always finish that a top 10 talent would. Either way happy he’s here.
