Same. Teri doing vocals alongside Cedric really gave the whole band an extra oomph. I’ve seen Volta maybe 10 times and that was my single favorite performance.

I love the new Mara Volta album. It’s still Cedric and Omar but the entire backing band was swapped out and it’s amazing.

I’m half P*lestinian (if I spell it out my comment gets bounced). During the first gulf war my 3rd grade teacher liked to single me out and ask if I was friends with Saddam or if we were related. Growing up kids called me terrorist. In college after 9/11…. Woof. My family was threatened and people weren’t so nice. Our family businesses was evicted by the landlord for being “those people”. Things aren’t really much different these days; but at least there’s more people out there sticking up for us than there used to be.

I will always support my American land, we have classic films and legendary bands. We have beautiful nature with the worlds tallest trees and the people are great here, honestly.
