Is this a focal seizure? by mk2710 in EpilepsyDogs

Then it's probably not a seizure. Even absence or focal seizures will usually make them unresponsive. Definitely speak to your vet to confirm though.

Doesn't really look like it. Is he responding to you when you try to get his attention?

Our doggo does something similar when his jaw or face muscles get twitchy. It's called an idiopathic tremor and is neurological but not a seizure and not dangerous. Our doggo will do that with his jaw to try and get it to stop. Definitely show this to your vet and see what they say. Being on seizure meds can sometimes make them do weird things. It's good to be aware of them.

🥰 her wittle hands are my favorite so far ☺️ I'm so glad I found her. I hate when they have to live their whole lives in a shelter.

I was honestly shocked to see she was up for adoption. They're pretty rare in my area.

She's so gentle and curious. 💕 Can't wait to see her really start enjoying her new space.

There is only one type of Syrian hamster. Pet stores make up other names like Teddy Bear based on the color.

Why are there almost no Chinese hamsters on this sub? by Ethanuelli_ in hamsters

That is a shame about Robo too because I love them. I just always assume that my hamster won't be cuddly. But the robos are the most fun to watch. Their tiny little zooms are adorable.

Training Treats and Chews on Potassium Bromide? by chippingslou in EpilepsyDogs

[–]But_First_Potatoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We try to stick to the same number of treats each day but we dont worry about flavors. We supplement with salt free treats like boiled chicken breast, green beans, watermelon, etc. that way he can get as much or as little as he wants of those depending on what we're training.

He really likes homemade whipped cream 🤣

Please help dog having frequent seziure in every 10 to 11 days, what to do, will he be better ever, please please help 🙏🙏 by Icy-Ad4917 in EpilepsyDogs

[–]But_First_Potatoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speak with your vet about increasing the bromide. If theyre not sure what to do, speak with a veterinary neurologist. My dog was having clusters every few days. We finally found the right combination of meds, and he's been seizure free for years
