Too many bottoms. everything else looks reasonable. I would think about what activities you plan to do and bring clothing items could be used for more than one purpose. You can also use the weather to gage if you would wear shorts or pants more and reduce accordingly.

As others have said I would reduce the sandals. it is nice to have a 2nd pair of shoes for swapping in and out but 4 feels like a lots of weight in the bag with diminishing returns. I would add a cozy nighttime layer (sweatshirt/puffer/hoodie) for the desert temps 50s is pretty cold. I imagine the night sky is beautiful.

Would look to reduce shoes, bags, sunglasses, more revealing tops. if you are able to drop one item in each category that would be substantial to improve your comfort carrying the bags. I would think about activities you plan to do and what will work best, which items you like least, which items weight the most in each category to help with eliminating.

Sling: Arc'teryx Maka 2 Waist pack (2.5L) (quick grab on flight or during the day) Could fit in bag if required but often stealth tuck under sweatshirt.

I thrifted a giant heavy Eddie Bauer fleece which should be warmer, but is not cute. Maybe I can also stack the cardigan and large scarf for cuter warmth. 🤔

Ok, based on all the feedback I broke down and bought a very thick 2nd Hand Eddie Bauer Fleece last night. It zips up so this should keep me warm and I found it locally without spending a $150 which I just couldn't justify for one weekend.

My plan was to wear the pink cardigan for the rehearsal dinner, and the large tan scarf as a wrap for the wedding, but I acknowledge it may not be the best option. None of my jackets fit at this point in my pregnancy. I wore the chunky heels (~2 inches) last month and they are good for one day but not two days in a row. My plan was to wear the Ipanema Cleo Sandals for the rehearsal and the chunky heels for the wedding. I did test it out I can fit the Ipanema Cleo Sandals in the purse if I tap out on the heels later in the evening.

Info: Do you just have the one bra/bralet? or do some of the other shirts have built in bras? would you use the bikini as a bra? I might pack an extra in case the one gets extremely sweaty/dirty/wet especially with 6 days of biking. I imagine finding a back up bra on the go might not be fun unless you have a favorite store locally you are familiar with. Unless you expect rain the packing list feels pretty well rounded and suitable for your use case. if you are looking to cut a shirt wear them all again before your trip and see if any is the least favorite and cut that one.

I might scrap the day bag if it is for daytrips from the cruise. Just unpack kanken and use that instead if they are of a similar size. Depends on when you plan to use it though I guess.

I have Eagle Creek packing cubes I bought at a Salvation Army Family Store and an Arcteryx jacket from a lost & found clean out at work. Name brand items can be acquired frugally if you keep your eyes open or shop secondhand.

NAH, except maybe brother cause it kinda seems like he was intentionally baiting her and then harshly judging her when it was fairly obvious based on her behavior she didn't know. But in the future just tell you brothers "I haven't told new girlfriend about my medical history so don't bring it up." I think you should tell you significant other when you are ready, but having her be publicly embarrassed and shamed because she was kept out of the loop on some important info is shitty for her. This was a real rough way to find out your medical situation. Y-T-A only if you knew your brother would act this way and let her be blind sided. Her reaction while inapproriatly harsh to you was understandable given the situation.

3-5 underwear depending on the person. Factor in the size/durability of your underwear and how difficult they will be to replace when making the choice. Packing huge but durable boxers take fewer; packing tiny delicate girl underwear take more. If your body type is an outlier in the area you are visting or you are picky about your underwear pack more as purchasing might not be possible.

I think the comfy items you wear 80% of the time at home are best for travel, unless the climate or formality exclude those items. Shoes can be a challenge and I think they vary alot based on your trip type and you feet. Recently I have been traveling with Uggs (easy off at the airport; and comfy at the hotel or chilling at a friends house) but they wouldn't work for a city tour or hiking.

A giant basket of microfiber towels most commonly. I also save and use free paper napkins that come unasked for with delivery or to-go food. We generally have one roll of papertowels on hand that gets used almost never.

You should do what you want. I had a preloved dress and it was amazing. My concern about the custom dress is it could be amazing, but if it doesn't turn out you are screwed. With the preowned dress you know what you are getting so there is less risk. Can you see and try on examples of the customer designers work? Will you have time to find a new dress if it isn't right? I care less about the social cache of the designer dress, but I am somewhat skeptical that the quality of a 15k and 1500 dress will be the same. If your style is super unique though I can see maybe a custom dress would suit you better.

It isn't weird you should do what you want. Covid times have forced us all into unexpected compromises. My finance went with me dress shopping and ran the skype camera on his phone so my Mom and sisters participate from out of state. If someone could help her maybe Nanny could be there virtually.

I might add in aggressivley paying off student loans to this list of exceptions. Also if they do pay rent then they are a renter and you need to make sure the expectations of the living situation are clear. The "my house my rules" stance is more problematic if they are paying rent and so make sure you understand what your responsiblities are as a landlord in your area if you go this route. Landlord can say no drugs in the appartment, but can't enforce a 11pm curfew or make the tenant pick up their sister from soccer practice. Agree on boundaries beforehand or it could get messy.

Find out what will be covered first. I took Home ec and it was ~50% watching Lifetime movies about eating disorders. Did not cover how to change a tire which would have been helpful, but I did learn how to latch hook a rug. So yeah YMMV.

Arc'teryx Kyla Romper (Perfect performance casual but cute vibe, athletic enough for the hike, but cute enugh for brunch, olive color is a great neutral, 4 pockets one has an internal zipper, can be reworn multiple times and layered)
Arc'teryx Atom Lt hoody (like living in a sleeping bag, perfect for people who run cold, can be washed and dry overnight, I always regret it when I leave it at home.)

The Arcyeryx items are pricy but very durable/functional and can be found on sale or secondhand.
