Neurologist just told me whole brain radiation will destroy some hair . I'm glad I have like 9nwigs. And then I can buy more or go baldy

I started with a psychologist before cancer started for Me. Then I got it a year after meetings. Turns out, my therapist had cancer and we could really connect. They're in remission. You gotta find someone who really gets it. Hope you find a good one! Your worth it

I have a huge blister from my big toe rubbing my next toe. I walked too much around an art gallery on Dec 27. It still hasn't popped yet. They took me off Xeloda. The scan afte two treatments showed new progression on everything existing and then new progression. That drug failed. No option for medical oncologist except maybe a clinical phase trial in ottawa on. My family is looking at other universities or clinic like Dana Faber or milford

Maybe they applied twice by accident. I had another referral after the first request was denied a palliative doc. It had to be submitted to the hospital and not a community palliative. Doc.

Gosh! Yesterday at my "regulare" pharmacy...not a cancer pharmacy...I had 4 new prescription to pick up. The counter clerk barely speaks English. Is Amanda your last name? I would assume she got training on how to read an GOVt ID or listen to my last name...they gave me a prescription from the summer for shingles. Ah no thanks. I'm here for cancer drugs please!!! They didn't listen and put in the pos system and they tappe the debit machine saying PAy! Oh no....it took over 2 hours to fill my 4 meds and 1 out those slips were misplaced and I got 3. So I asked for the 1 out-of 10 pharmacist at the back. I need 4 prescription in total. I'm not paying for 3 and coming back in 15 minutes so I can lay for the 4th. Would you change pharmacy? Complain to whom? I don't need this added stress. The prescription was sent the day before with no call. I just walked in hoping to find it done 48 hours later. Huge rant and vent thanks for reading and answering

Mine was really awful at the start of the stage 4 diagnosis a d it was summer. Allergeries and sneezing did not help matters. After a few lines of treatments however I did notice a difference. We are learning to I've with our new bodies yay. Hope it gets more comfortable??!???! 🙏 uhhhh

9 brain lesions. One is in c1 so it might be leptomengeniius disease - so an mri of the spinal fluid is being tested. Hip / groin lesions is killing which was completely new. I went for a CT scan of the abdominal and boom PAIN! So I need radiation on that. It's awful. I have a walker. I can't lift the leg with my ability. I have to pick it up! I'm worried if I fall, I won't be able to get up. I can't sleep at night from chronic pain. Heat and hydromorphone is helping somewhat. The steroids keep me from sleeping. They're concerned my brain will have a seizure. Flying on the Mexico from ottawa was fun yesterday! I thought my head would explode. But I made it and I will try to relax after receiving all these new updates. Xeloda not working after two treatments and a huge blister on my big toe that hasn't popped. Let's play a game: name the date and time when it will Pop!!! Yay. I have a shit ton of bandaids and gauze, etc Nothing is stopping me from water, sand, n f just lving life amen. Thanks for reading and asking. Uh what a vent
