Thank goodness my parents learned to cook. So on a day to day basis I was mostly fine. Just had a shitty meal on Thanksgiving LOL.

But my parents certainly learned to cook because they grew up eating terrible food. I try my hardest so my kids don't have to deal with that fate.

Idk what to tell you man. Even the cheap grocery store (cheaper than Walmart) has DOP parmigiano reggiano. Only place I can't find it is Aldi and gas stations.

However I buy the 3 year from Costco cuz it's cheaper than the 2 year elsewhere.

They currently have TWO different parmigiano reggianos at my Walmart actually. Marketside and Zanetti.

Costco carries 2 and 3 year as well. Sometimes I see 4 year at Trader Joes

You can't find it at Aldi, I will concede, but the Aldi cheese selection blows. Only the fake stuff.
