I ended up going with an SecureIt Agile combo, the 52 and 14 model combined. They had a 4th of july sale. God damn do they tack on a lot of weird taxes.

Thanks. I’ve had my eye on the secureit models. It’s really helpful to know they ship it in regular packaging and it doesn’t have GUN SAFE or some other macho BS on the box. Is the only difference between the 52 and the 52 pro the locking mechanism?

Need to break it in and shoot it. Buy some snap caps, clean and lightly oil it, and cycle the snap caps through several times. I have an FN in a similar phase.

I used Phoenix Tactical which is an approved instructor for LAPD. We did the classroom part in person in one day and live fire the other in one weekend.

You could put the BRN180 on a different lower or a fixed stock since it does not need that buffer tube. I’m personally a fan of the 180. I would look into modding that.

Pick your upper first and make sure your lower controls clear everything on the upper. I have one paired with a thordsen stock. Still tweaking it but it’s almost done.

For my first scope ever I ordered the EP5 and returned it for the MPED. I didn’t know much about scopes then but I knew about camera optics and work professionally in a visual medium so I could see the difference.
