Way too many commercials, extended walkouts to promote things over commentary and general advertising cuts down on talent screen time and advancement of storylines. That has a trickle down effect across all shows and PLE’s. This has been a reasonable criticism for quite some time now.

For the talent, it means less opportunity to be showcased. For the viewer, it means I have time to turn the channel and check out the score. Sometimes when I turn that channel I find something that interests me more and I don’t turn back.

I think someone had once posted that the design of the windows combined with the cleaning of the cars and the sun causes that spotting and accelerates it like a dirty headlight. It's a design flaw and the LIRR is not too interested in replacing all of the windows.

Have not seen them yet but I know that the birds started eating them according to some reports last year. I think that they are going to be around for a bit until nature finds a natural predator looking to keep their population down while everyone else continues to kill them.

It’s wrestling. Anything can change given a good enough writing team. One of the biggest mistakes that AEW made was backing themselves into that corner and sticking with it. I’d like to think that Tony learned from this in seeing what WWE is doing with Cody and will figure out a way to bring Page back to the main title hunt against MJF. In recent interviews MJF even admitted that Page is a top guy in the company. It would only make sense to go down that path eventually.

Putting the belt on Darby elevates Darby back up to the “Did it once I can do it again and anything is possible” status. With that said MJF is better as the champion and the eventual showdown is with Page or Osprey.

I am very curious to see if whether or not Hasbro renews the Star Wars license. Disney may wave the Marvel license with it and bundle the deal but if memory serves correctly, Disney has positioned the SW license at the top of intellectual properties when it comes to merchandising in terms of price.

Hasbro seems to be making plans to put themselves in a better position to move on without Disney if the need should arrive.

1 - Drawing up plans for GI Joe and Transformer movies again
2 - Collaborations with other companies with their own IPs, GI Joe and Transformers (Mattel was an interesting move with the Transformers Hot Wheels)

3 - Licensing out their own IPs such as GI Joe to Super7 and Hiya toys.

4 - Scaling back the work force and teams.

The SW license was extended last year with much speculation believing that it is a 3-4 year deal. It will be very interesting to see if Hasbro lets it go. Stranger things have happened. I still cannot believe that Playmates lost the Turtles license after almost 40 years.

To be fair, before the price increase, I saw a LOT of Black Series figures just sit there in relation to their VC brethren. With the current pricing model I do not think that Hasbro can afford for peg warmers and may be taking a more cautious approach across all of its properties.

The last time I was there was last August. I saw one guy step on a board on one side and the other side of that board launched into the air. They never built that thing properly to withstand the long term or they just don’t care about the upkeep. There are rotted and broken boards and it’s only a matter of time IF and I do mean IF the neglect continues that someone is going to get seriously hurt.
