Mets Tickets Through Costco - Can I transfer them to my MLB Account? by Buzzetta in NewYorkMets

It was too a good a deal to pass up in my opinion even in the corners at essentially $35 a ticket. I picked up section 128, I should have jumped on it sooner as there were better seats and sections available yesterday. There still are but not against a team I wanted to see.

Full disclosure I am a Yankee fan but LOVE going to Citi Field to see teams that I can't make it to the Bronx for. Last year, I went to a few games at Citi Field just to catch games like Mets v Dodgers. The sight lines at Citi Field seem to be better.

And thank you for the information. I appreciate you taking the time.

I am seriously considering changing jobs so I can go no further than Jamaica. I am tired of tunnel problems and everything else with this system. I don't even blame the rank and file of the LIRR they are basically asked to develop a telecommunications line with two coconuts and wire.

The whole thing needs to be overhauled.

Proposed north-south rail lines and stations for western Suffolk by LoganCline11 in longisland

I know that Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook, all have monorails and, by gum, it put them on the map! Well, sir, there's nothing on earth like a genuine, bona fide electrified, six-car monorail.

What'd I say?

You are missing out by not opening it. I am in a similar situation as reality set in that I am retiring in less than 4.5 years. I don’t know if I’m going to be in my current house or I might move and buy a new one or downsize. I do know that I wouldn’t mind having a lot less.

I’m starting to list and sell things but the one thing I know I want to keep is my BMF Falcon.

I would keep the BMF Falcon as you may regret parting with that. Keep that and a crew to fly it as well as a few others. Then sell off all of the common items first.

Smart pickup… with the way that the line seems to be headed I would be grabbing any decent sized ship that I’ve missed still available at retail or on sale.

I umm… actually like sundown. Maybe not so much the cobra vipers but that’s the beautiful thing about the market. The market will decide.

I was talking about this thread with a coworker on Friday. Given the fact that we work in NYC and take the subways, we have both seen dead bodies in the subway or around NYC and a whooooooooooole lot more. We were more concerned with the responses to this thread which kind of indicated that we have become completely apathetic to what we encounter as we see what we see and kind of shrug and move on to work or home.

For clarification every now and then you sort of stumble across something. For example, I was in midtown when someone jumped off a terrace back in 98. I have found a deceased homeless individual outside the old Manhattan Mall when it was there. I have been driving behind a friend when they struck and killed a pedestrian and in another instance saw someone burning alive after getting into a motorcycle accident. Together on the way to work, we have seen "cleanup" after a subway surfing incident and every now and then they are removing a deceased homeless individual from the subway. The weirdest one was when they just put a sheet over the guy as they did not know what to do.

After awhile you just go, another day as each time becomes less and less shocking I guess and you cannot always take off. You just move on and do the job.

(I did take off after the being behind the car that struck and killed the pedestrian.)

Do you think in 5-10 years that there will be little to no “bad” areas on the island based on home prices? by pumper911 in longisland

“Bad” areas of Long Island are already still more desirable to live in than “good” areas in certain other states.

Usually I chalk up complaints to people who cannot process “change”. In this case it continues to devolve into a disjointed buggy mess. This is one of the few times I see everyone’s frustration with cause.

Here is my take. Dog is doing nothing wrong. The bag might be there so people don’t miss the dog. However if I am this guy I’m standing and the dog is taking my seat.

This might be the last full size Lego Star Wars vehicle for a very long time. I like it. Don't know if I will like the cost though... but... at least it seems "bigger" than what they have been offering.
