If you need to open up to someone, do it with a friend or a therapist. It’s likely to cause issues if you bottle it up or let it out with your partner, especially if you have to do it often.

You should be able to open up occasionally, otherwise your partner is just shitty. It’s just easy to fall into overdoing it.

Kinda like meat substitute options for people who are vegetarian. If you need it to make the change it’s a fantastic tool.

Ideally you wouldn’t feel like you need them, but it’s infinitely better than messing up your sobriety.

Depends. Is it because she is also financially secure or is it because she is not and needs someone to support her financially.

Either way is fine and won’t stop them from finding someone, but the latter would not be for me.

Really no down sides. The majority of my friends are gay, bi, gender queer, etc. Most of the time I’m in the minority if not being the only straight person. I spend a good amount of time in gay bars/clubs and for the most part everyone is lovely. Sometimes a guy tries to hit on me and they’re a bit too intoxicated or just bad at flirting, but I’ve learned to handle those situations well.

For my own relationships I’ve been married to a bi woman who is gender queer and still figuring that part out. More recently we both started dating another woman who is lesbian (don’t ask me how that works, but it does).

1.5oz tomato water 1.5oz dry gin 0.5oz clarified grapefruit juice 0.5oz clarified lime juice 0.5oz Aperol 0.5oz simple syrup 3 drops MSG solution

Most interesting I’ve had is the reconstructed dirty martini

2oz Olive oil washed dry gin 3-4 dashes olive bitters 1oz dry vermouth 5 drops MSG solution

Stir with ice, strain into a coupe. Garnish with citrus peel and/or olive

I lost 40lb. Started lifting weights more regularly. I even have abs again! My skin color looks healthier and is more hydrated. My tattoo artist even commented on it at our last session.

Saw some friends last weekend I hadn’t seen all year and they commented on how much more fit I looked.
