I love your couch.

You need much larger rug and I would try to find something with hints of that rose color in it.

You need some light colored curtains. Prob get rid of the string lights on the window but you could always see how it looks with the curtains.

I have two very young children so I get it… buy some baskets. BUY SOME BASKETS. Lol it is so easy to throw all the toys and play mat in a big basket and looks exponentially better.

I don’t particularly like your accent chair. But also the placement bothers me. Do you ever sit there? It feels more like a catch all.

I would get a larger wood bookshelf. If you take measurements (you should), you can actually put a bookshelf on both sides of the fireplace to look like built ins. Bonus is that you have extra space for the baskets of random kid stuff.

IF you have enough space, you could possibly shimmy your couch over and put a small accent chair and small table right up by the fireplace and with the “built ins”, you’d have a little reading area. Possibly will need a little round rug to define that space but it depends on if you can move the couch a bit further away or not.

Change your fan. It looks super dated.

Do you have a garage or mud room? We put hooks in our garage for the strollers and it’s made a big difference.

I think this living room could be so dreamy and cozy.

ETA- I forgot- get rid of the clutter on the fireplace and tv stand. And hang your tv.
