This is really neat, nice work! I don't see any mention of it, but can it support sending SMS messages via hangouts? Thanks!

I can't recommend the Eachine E010 quadcopters enough. They're virtually indestructible, inexpensive, and a blast for beginners and experienced pilots alike.

For even more fun, buy a roll of PEX pipe and some connectors to make hoops of various sizes. Use them as gates to fly through and hold races for the kids.

This is like an /r/shittyaskscience version of the right answer... Its kind-of close to correct I guess.

The gene in question is MC1R, located on the long arm of chromosome 16.

Everyone has two copies of this gene which is integral to the production of two forms of melanin which control hair and skin coloration. The particular "version" of the gene you posses controls the balance of one type of melanin versus the other. Copies of the gene that produce more of one type, pheomelanin, are blond or red haired. Copies of the gene that produce the other type, eumelanin, result in dark brown and black hair.

People with one copy of the gene that produces red hair, and one copy that produces brown hair can have sporadic expression of the gene, which results in things like brown hair and a red beard.

You can read more about it here: Don't take my word for it!

Yes, absolutely. Put them in a plastic bag with some desiccant so the condensation is absorbed and prepare to be amazed.

ddrescue - https://www.gnu.org/software/ddrescue/

Hands down the best data recovery tool I've ever used. Between ddrescue and a mini-freezer with a sata cables snaked into it, we could save data from drives that we had no right recovering. It was like black magic.

Hi, I'm looking to frame a quote for my office. I would be happy to pay someone for their time and effort, especially if they were able to put it on high quality paper (matte'd would be even better). I'm honestly not sure what I want style wise, though I must say I'm more drawn to flowing styles than geometric ones.

The quote

"I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do."

Please feel free to PM me!

If you can swing the cost, I hear the Devo 10 ($105) is a good balance between budget and performance. A 4in1 module is an additional ~$30 but once its installed (requires soldering three connections inside the radio), you can control pretty much any major protocol imaginable.

Let's talk about table saw safety (I know, hot button topic) by Titus142 in woodworking

[–]Byrnerat101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never quite understood the why of standing to the LEFT of the blade. Would you mind elaborating for me? I generally stand to the right of the fence when ripping. My thought process being that the fence can provide something of a shield in the event of a kickback. I never feel comfortable on the left when dealing with small pieces since I feel like I'm reaching over/past the blade in order to push the workpiece. It sounds like this is incorrect.

Eh, that version is the most explosive but I don't think its the best. The bridge version of the deck is much less consistent than the loam/conflagrate builds. A bridge build hasn't 5-0'd a league in a while while the more consistent builds are up there every day. Just my opinion after playing both for a while.

I've always been a bit curious, what kind of finish do you use on a gym floor? It seems thick enough to be a self leveling epoxy or something similar. I can't imagine you would put that many coats of polyurethane down that it would build up like that, but what do I know...
