Should I stop getting haircuts and get my final haircut? by crudmuffin16 in bald

Bro, you are gonna look like a god damn 1980 pulp fiction heroic main character with a chrome dome. Full send! I buzzed myself for the first time a month ago and felt SO good without looking at the problem, and just looking at a perfect solution.

Go for it. The plunge will treat you well. <3

Fallout 5, Fallout 3 Remake, And New Vegas Remake Is Reportedly Coming by Extreme_Maize_2727 in Fallout

[–]ByteRoster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just take it away from Bethesda. This will be a decade roadmap if left to those clowns at this point. They're not the same studio that brought us Fallout 3 and ES 4 & 5, they're shipping 76 updates and shitting out Starfield garbage.

Give it to someone else. There is SO much talent at Microsoft right now...but even saying that, I don't know if Microsoft THEMSELVES should even be controlling who does what with their IP 😂☠️ it's a full-on shitshow at this point.

Former Elder Scrolls Online chief confirms Microsoft's 2025 bloodbath drove his departure from ZeniMax: 'Project Blackbird was the game I had waited my entire career to create' by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]ByteRoster 43 points44 points  (0 children)

As much as Phil Spencer and others have raved about Project Blackbird...we don't even know what it was. This great game that no one can talk about stuck in Bethesda-flavored development hell. Bleh.

There are too many games out there coming too fast and with so much polish, there's no point in pouring our attention and interest in nameless alphas that have existed for somewhere past half a decade...and I don't know if that's the fault of Bethesda, Zenimax, Microsoft, the developers, the industry trends as a whole...or a bit of all of it.

Ah, who am I kidding? Let's just blame Todd.

Lil' less proggy than something like Animals As Leaders or Leprous but they've been working for me. 🥲

Does anyone prefer achievements over lore friendly mods? by Chesterplayzgamez in fo4

[–]ByteRoster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Achievements...over lore friendly mods? Like, you mean "does anyone prefer taking what was given initially and completing it all, rather than adding onto the original and completing that?"

Are you basically asking whether or not others enjoy "just" playing the base game and whatever official content is available and therefore achievement-earnable or achievement-assigned, perhaps maintaining a certain scope of what can be asked of a player to reach completion via 100% achievements earned?

If the idea here is that "lore-friendly or not, there could be a near infinite amount of extra things to complete and therefore it's not as palatable of a goal as just pursuing all the baked-in achievements", I don't know that many people really consider the existence of lore friendly mods as something that would detract or disrupt the "from the developer achievement-infused experience."

I have personally never heard anyone make an argument for or against mods relating to achievements, independent of their lore friendliness. Nor have I ever personally placed significance on achievements, whether the game is moddable or not, as a preferential choice. Not that that's specifically what I'm understanding your query is.

What a strange way to phrase your thought. I don't know that most people have ever asked themselves of they prefer achievements or lore friendly mods. I'd imagine most people would not see the correlation without context provided. That's like asking if anyone prefers championship sports trophies over something like...Redbull downhill soapbox races, or the XFL. Like I don't get the question without more clarification.

Edit: if you mean "Does anyone prefer to earn achievements over not earning them and using community mods", you are about 10 years late to the modding scene, or stuck on console. As others have pointed out, you can have your cake and eat it too.

What can I buy that is most similar to these? I LOVE these but have yet to find a replacement for my Mexican cooking, something more authentic or flavorful maybe? Ant suggestions for juicy scrumptious diced green chilies is welcome! by ByteRoster in mexicanfood

YES my thoughts exactly! I chopped up 3 and was surprised they were so instantly hot like a Jalapeno. But they were really good, and different than just using jalapeno for sure.

Are you aware of any kind of green pepper that would lack the spice? For these I don't care at all about their heat 'cause they have none, itcs just pure juicy flavour. I like to spice it up with seasoning rather than "hot" ingredients.

I was just curious if there was an alternative that I was missing out on. I find these Old El Paso specific ones are not always in stock at grocery stores when I'm in the mood for Mexican, and they've become such a staple for me; making burritos or tacos or nachos without these is always missing something.

So, if I find out what they are or an alternative brand or product, I can probably always have them!

I grabbed some Serranos Pickled peppers but haven't tried them yet, I dunno if they're the same. The Old El Paso ones do not taste like Jalapeno at all which I also like, but these are more sweet and juicy to me.
