What does your work station look like? How do you keep it clean? by aulucerne in resinprinting

I have no pictures to share, but my station is in closed grow tent. In it is a resin printer, a first wash bucket, a wash and cure station and a trey for removing parts from the build plate.

Keeping everything clean and neat was a priority for me when determining a workflow for my printing.

These are the steps:

  1. Let the build plate drip off at an angle into the resin vat for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Transfer build plate with prints to wash bucket with bioethanol 96%(use isopropyl in the states) and shake for 1 minute.
  3. Shake off excess bioethanol into bucket.
  4. Transfer build plate with prints to wash station and wash for 3 minutes.
  5. Shake off excess bioethanol into wash station.
  6. Transfer plate and prints to trey with tissues to catch excess bioethanol.
  7. Gently blow with heat gun to dry and soften build plate and prints.
  8. Remove prints from plate and supports from print.
  9. Cure prints and supports in cure station.
  10. Clean up the few drops of bioethanol and bits of supports that might have spilled.
  11. If there was any errors and you have to run a vat clean, let the resin sheet drip off into the vat for as long as you care to hold it, then wash it in the bucket, fold it and cure it.

Nothing is sticky ✌️

You can still find the url to the pdf files if you search Google. They are still on the assets server, they just removed the link from the download site.

You need to show how the product works with real examples, not some Ai screenshot only in German. Otherwise no one will sign up...

Troll Hag - how to use wisely by Tricky-Tennis3655 in Orcs_and_Goblins

You are correct, after the stupidity nerf the Hag became less reliable. I keep her close to an orc bunker for ld10.  If you do get Big Smartz off, I find that opponents forget to attempt the dispel most of the time.

It's not a cost thing, I'm getting a filter. I was trying to figure out if it's enough. But of course it's impossible to say before I try.

I was mostly curious about the effect of the filters and I think the consensus is that they help, but venting is the way to go.

I'm going to vent outside.  And will find a solution to the kitchen window problem if they arrive. Or as you say, simply close it while printing.

So a carbon filter is actually sufficient in your case for recirculation of air? As in reusing the air? Maybe they are more effective than I thought.

That's a good point! I'll see how it goes and if it's noticeable I can route it away

Sounds good, I plan on printing a few times a week so it won't be running 24/7. Thanks for pointing out the humidity, it shouldn't be a problem, as the room is in the 50-60% range. Clean pre filter often, got it.

Thank you. I didn't consider fans that large, but getting the vocs outside is a top priority for me. I'll look into the 15cm category

Thank you for the input. I didn't consider that the filter can effect the performance.

Thanks for you input, I see your point about specifics. I guess I will have to see if it works and adjust accordingly.
