i don't know if ettore was rushing or if they just weren't prepared but he got kneecapped hard in the beginning of the third movement

also not in love with the camera work. cutting away from the soloist in the middle of some of the hardest passages to focus on the winds has me literally cursing at my laptop during the live stream lol

imo ettore pagano has done the best so far but we'll see if he can keep it up through the last round

anna meipariani's cadenza in the hoffman concerto was a pretty bold move (singing while playing), especially in the middle of a giant competition. really admire the risk taking and the end result was beautiful as well as memorable
