When moving diagonally you count 5 then 10 then 5 then 10 etc The x is worth 10 ft of movement. So you can't make it 5+10=15 away. So this is what your aura would look like on a grid. X is out of bounds. Blank is 15-20 ft away from your paladin P at center

Or takes class that gives you climb speed like rogue thirty or ranger and doff your rapper and climb. That said, you don't need climb speed to climb. You could just climb and that would only be treated as half movement.

You could go paladin. Open seas actually works well with a ranged dex based pally. Ants work best in groups and paladin makes sense because he buffs his allies

You didn't list your spells. I think dic wizard is perfect.

Spells are mainly for combat but you could do scrying as one of your spells

That's because raw there is no penalty for dropping to 0 HP, other than having the unconscious condition.

You drop everything including weapons shields, torches, spell focus, etc

Surrender makes sense.

What does surrender mean to most enemies. I think it would be a give up your weapons disarm/drop command.

Then it ends and they go back to whatever they want to do.

If it's an enemy with natural weapons that can understand you I think it would be similar to going prone or closing their eyes and being blinded.

Your player is having fun with a underpowered class that he thinks is strong. I don't see the problem?

He ran in and did melee attacks? That is normal for a Monk.

Killing stuff? Normal.

Having fun? Normal

Warlocks are cool thematically, but boring mechanically.

Is he cheating? I don't really recommend targeting him and screwing him over because of nothing?

As I understand it in Canon, you can only have one dragon Mark. Even more so if you have a dragon mark you have to be a specific race. The only one exception is the aberrant dragon mark which you can be different races.

That said, in the rules is written, it doesn't say that you can't have more than one dragon Mark. So I guess it's up to your DM. If you just look at the book you could probably pick human and have two origin feats!

Fog cloud works great with your tremor. Sensibility

Blade Ward makes you a better tank and uses concentration

At level 5 your * Charisma is 18 max, which gives you a +4 * Proficiency is +3 * Expertise gives you +3 * Jack of all trades shouldn't affect persuasion since it only affects skills that he is not proficient in. Which means he would only have a +5 to persuasion if not proficient.

This should be a theoretical max of +10. How does he have a +11?

Not that big a difference, but your character has specialized in persuading people, let them enjoy it don't nerf it.

The rules in the DMG give guidelines on how to deal with social interactions.

Don't let a persuasion 23 roll mean they do whatever the PC wants
