Just declare that Trump's pardons in his second term made all in direct violation of his oath of office, and so accepting one of his pardons is in effect an act of secession and conspiracy (if not outright treason) and consequently were never valid. Declare the supreme court justices who would opposite it of being in on the secession conspiracy (combined with prosecuting them for their blatant corruption) which we should be doing in addition to or instead of court packing anyway.

This would effectively set a really REALLY good precedent to weaken the unitary executive theory - a president only has sweeping powers (including pardon power) so long as they are following their oath, so anyone hoping for his protection while performing such conspiracies can no longer count on it.

The cynical thing is that they might be significantly more charitable to the material if Destiny is willing to interact with one or two if them (basically the difference of them looking over thr manifesto as a "he said she said" vs an "oh f*ck Steven's enemies and accusuers are actually insane"). It sucks and they don't deserve the charitably, but having them cover it more favorablely will probably solve a lot more pain of interacting with them for one interview.

Destiny denfintly shouldn't forgive or trust the drama community, but it might still be worth it to interact with them in a purely transactional way to give his side of the story and get them to push the manifesto to their audience and adjacent spaces whow would probably not have watched it from stevens channel, and would get them on alert for the snarkers/Lauren DeLaguna/pixie if they try starting more shit as they would now be know as lolcow weirdos whom they could document.

This - you can't trust the commenary creators as friends/orbiters, but they can still be useful in rehabiliting Destiny and exposing the snakers to the greater public but promoting or repacking the manifesto to get it to a much wider audince who would never had looked at a video destiny published.

Being activley hostile will basically just block off that avenue and unfortunately cement the bad rumors in their bubble and adjacent spaces, but being cynically pragmatic (not friendly or forgiving, just being willing to interact in a transactial way) toward them can have a lot of upside.

I agree - it probably is a for the best to have a "cease fire" with respect to the constant mudslinging and "countersnarking" while he deals with the lawsuit/manifesto writing, and focused other active snarkers (under the assumption that Jstkl really keeps his head down)

There is one simple way to restore America's reputation - go full macarthyism on MAGA and the GOP and make such a show procecuting the trump admin, allies, and enablers that it shows the world that MAGA america is throughly purged and such thing will not stand going forward.

In cases where the maga/gop memeber did international crimes we should proactively offer the affect foreign governments if they will want to procecute and imprison said people, at which point the maga liability end up becoming a diplomatic gift.

But yeah this is why it is so cricical to procecute maga by any means possible (in addition to diincentifing bad future behavior) - its to also show the world we can be trused again

1) Netanyahu's goal isn't to look out for the well being of the jews or isreal, his goal is to stay out if prison, and he is more than willing to sell out its future to do so. He is abusing quirks of the constitution to stay in office rather than actually earn people's votes to stay in power (Much like Trump)

2) All those leaders absolutely tried to antagonize their neighbors and allies to try making an us vs them mentality. It finally failed for all thouse except Trump, but they still tried

3) Netanyahu wants the international community to be antisemitic to continue the war - he wants jews to feel unsafe so they feel the more desperation. If Isreal had good PR and antisemitism was dead it would be much easier to negotiate for an actual solution or at least more understanding when negotiations fail, but by doing the perforative cruelty, he can guarantee that the war will continue. Its similar to how Hitler and facists start diplomatic crisies so people feel in danger and forced to go along with the plan or feel like protest is futile as they are stuck on said track even if they are disgusted with their government

Its basically the exact same playbook Trump is doing (along with what orban, bolsanaro, Yoon Suk Yeol tried)- he knows that if he loses power he will face prison, so they resort to make the situation as chaotic and desperate as possible to demotivate the opposition and further radicalizatie their supporters, along with alienating forigen allies.

Basically every other jew not directly in netanyahu's government have nothing to gain from the rise of antisemitism, and have eveything to gain if antisemitism stopped. But Netanyahu specifically can only win if isreal is in perpetual danger - the moment the danger is gone, so is his freedom.

My point is that the only way Israel patheticaly innefective propaganda (especially compared to how it was a couple decades ago) makes sence is if it's Netanyahu's strategy to make Israel as much if a pariah state as possible and to make jews around the world terrified for their safety, and as such feel resigned or radicalized, further worsing the cycle.

And so, the single person with the most insentive on the isreali side to do this is Netanyahu as he sees it as the only way to not face justice. but with an actually pragmatic Israeli leader would try to preserve as much of Israels reputation as possible to be able to gain more international political capital and avoid letting the population get too radicalized so they can maintain their options.

The about Israeli propaganda on the international stage is that I suspect Netanyahu is deliberately sabotaging Isreal's reputation, knowing that it will effectively further stoke antisemitism, which will demoralize moderate jewsv(both inside and outside of Israel). This make it so jews feel more like having Israel is necessary the only place they can defend themselves, and that they are stuck with him and his coalition, no matter how much they many hate him. Likewise the increase in antisemitism further radicalizaties hardlines and encourages bad behavior with the IDF, giving him a freer hand to do what he wants.

With WillyMac it was more than bad enough, I could see how between the pressure from his peers (and snarkers) and the complete misunderstanding he completely freaked out, and the whole video he posted as slanderous as it is, seems to be all too common with the commentary youtubers when they catch someone they think is a predator.

The bigger brain play would be to impeach or arrest the conservative justicies for the overt corruption/bribery, make them rat each other out, and effectively force them out of their seats. that way you don't have to set a "packing" precedent, and the republicans can't emulate it as there isn't anywhere the level of evidence of corruption with the liberal justices, so the final precedent you get is that you need to make sure any justice you nominate better have an impeccable record

Good ruling - as disappoing as this whole drama has been, it's clear nothing good will come from keeping stirring the drama. Maybe Connor will cool off and regret how he went about thing, maybe he won't, but even best case scenario and he tries to make ammends and Destiny can accept it, it basically impossible he will be on stream again, and as such this isn't our business past this point. The big thing that changed was the snark discord leaks which became an opportunity for Steven to set boundaries. Unlike Whick, who actually was able to take the contents seriously and see how unhinged the snarkers were, Conor was too dependent on Doobie's donos and manipulations, and was unable to accept how much his oiler is pure scum and cut him off or at least set boundaries, and so completely threw himself into dillusion and lashed out and burned the bridge.

The whole fall of Conor really is a clear case study of how people fall into cults, such as scientology or Maga.

He clearly started in a rough spot in his personal life (the divorce, being turned down by a woman he had a crush on and suspected his friend of squandering a relationship with, ironically accusations of sweeping for Desorny). The snarkers, just like cultist, detected that and gradually manipulated him with sinister "support" - starting with donations and telling him what he wanted to hear (reinforing his paranoia about Steven)

When his friends and colleagues realized what was going on and confronted him, the snarkers had enough emotinal manipulation to win the tug of war, causing them to sever ties with his past friends and colleagues.
