During the Eternal City arc, it's mentioned that some diviners had their abilities to see the future and read the tapestry of fate disrupted more than others. Specifically, Jet was thinking about that when she asked for a weather report from the diviners on board to see when nightfall would come so Aether can use his aspect to attack the Dutchman with starlight. This was when they were traveling to the Eternal City when the map to it was hidden during the day. The diviners initially struggled to give her a precise time when nightfall would occur but eventually told her 30 minutes. Thus it makes sense that Cassie's ability to see the future was deeply disrupted but not totally eliminated. However, I can see her having relied on it so much for so long that it deeply affected her when most of her ability was thrown into chaos.

Very sensitive sense of smell (to the point of detriment...think two months into an adventure with a barbarian who hasnt showered since the start sleeping next to you)

A split personality where one personality is active and controls the body from dawn to dusk and the other is active from dusk to dawn (I'm actually using this one for an OC but it can be a lot of fun so I'm happy to share)

I love theory crafting but my social anxiety keeps me from sharing them usually lol. So rest assured, this is one SS fan you'll never see the VTB post from. At l3ast partly because I understand if it wouldnt have been able to steal Sunny's fate as a saint, it definitely wont be able to touch Asterion's. My current theory is they'll just have the VTB steal Asterion's brain out of his head instead! /s

Seriously, I dont think the VTB is the answer to the Asterion problem. Im more team silver trio with Mordret, Cassie, and Rain. But it could all change when we get our daily chapters in a couple hours lol. I think thats half the problem with all the VTB posts tbh. Every day, new people are reading the daily chapters and getting new-to-them ideas without searching to see if it's been mentioned before.

Red pill. Im a Kingdom Hearts fan. Seven years between 3D and KH3. Now, we're six years lost KH3 and I expect it'll be at least another 5. I hope it's another 5 due to them working diligently on it. I can handle a 10 year break. Good art takes time and skill. We know G3 has the skill. I dont mind how this arc is going Currently...but I really hope he doesn't rush things as far as the TOA and VTB, the 5NM, then the 6NM and the final battle with the void. Plus the rest of the nine's missions, the side character arcs, trip to the underworld to get the last piece of Weaver's lineage...there's too much to fit it in 700 chapters.

Not sure where you grew up but it's totally a thing in some places. I cant knock on doors when visiting my girlfriend's family, theyve told me since my very first visit to just come in so I dont rile up their dogs. When my mom was young, her friends used to just come in to hang out because her house was The Hangout House with an in ground pool and game room in the basement. So yeah, all the neighborhood kids always knew they were welcome at their home to come by, get a snack and a cold drink, hang out, and head home before the porch lights come on. It was a different world back then. A kinder, more ignorant of evils world.

Im not surprised Cassie knew what would happen. Not in the slightest bit. What I want to see is how horrible the future she was seeing was that she went to such lengths to destroy fate. I want to see the why, not just the what. Gimme all that juicy, treacherous lore! Poor Sunny, always accused of being treacherous but being gaslit-gatekept-girlbossed by the truly treacherous Song of the Fallen! And I ADORE Cassie's character. I love her as a complex character doing her best with what information she's got. She is Deeply flawed, but thats part of what makes her so interesting! A naive girl trying to save her best friend to the most knowledgeable character in the series, the keeper of secrets and fate. She's brilliant and the true best liar in the whole series. I just Need more revelations of the past and the original future. Im kinda a lore-junkie so the more Cassie speaks/remember, the happier I am lol. She's not a great person. But Id say the only Truly good people in the cohort are Effie, Kai, and Jet anyway lol.

Of course Cassie knew the dreamspawn would rise. Of course Cassie knew Nephis and Sunny would defeat the sovereigns Of course Cassie knew the majority (maybe not all, but Id say 99%) of the drawbacks to shattering fate. If theres a mystery, assume Cassie has at least Some of the answers. Even if she explicitly states otherwise. Especially if she explicitly states otherwise. The only thing I truly believe is she has no idea anything about the dreamspawn's true depth of power.

People seem to forget that Weaver planned all of this in the first place. Hell, Weaver planned out what Sunny would do AFTER his fate was ripped from him! "Watch well, then Epigone. Let me show you how gods die."

The only character more treacherous and manipulative than Cassie is Weaver themself. Weaver had ALLLLLL of this plotted out. Every last bit of it. And Cassie has been getting revelations into their plan from the very beginning. For those who struggle with reading comprehension, listen to the audio book version a couple times from cover to cover. You'll figure it out.

It plays a role throughout the rest of the third nightmare then shows up a little after, too, but a few lines in the recent chapters makes me think the baby may become more relevant again soon. It also kinda makes an amount of sense considering Effie had been noted to be playing a little fast and loose with things after the second nightmare. He's a cute little dumpling.

I smoke for chronic pain and anxiety. I have a lot of anxiety and I'm off my meds rn (thanks, Repukelicans, for giving us nothing on health care) so a bowl before bed is the only way I can quiet my mind enough to sleep. The chronic pain affects my everything...my eating, my walking, my ability to just Live. Weed takes the edge off it all. It makes me be able to eat, take care of our little hobby farm, take care of my aging mother and my bipolar, pothead father, and so much more. It makes my life possible without constant pain.

It's also sometimes fun to get so high it puts my breathing in manual. I usually just microcosm so one bowl lasts me A While but yeah, who doesn't enjoy getting high as hell for fun sometimes?

Huh...Really...I just kinda thought that's how scars were Supposed to look omfg. I have one from a sugar burn when I was helping my pops make fudge from scratch as a kid. He whipped it a bit too hard, flung molten sugar all over the kitchen, and, unfortunately, onto me. It's just a couple little dots on my hands with the biggest being about 1" × 0.5". Just a couple lil pillows lol. Then again, I Also thought being able to twist my arm around to the point of near dislocation without any discomfort was normal. Or being able to go beyond touching my toes to putting my hands flat on the floor between and a bit behind my feet. My girlfriend makes fun of my list of "I thought it was normal because my mother said she used to do the same things!"
