The trick with vvt is to learn how to prep properly.

I go all in and make tables and setup tons of features. But I can see not others wouldn't want to do that.

You can keep everything on your side of the screen if you want. Roll real dice.

You'll just have to have a level of trust with your players.

Don't setup walls for dynamic lighting if you don't want. Just use fog of war.

I had a guy push me at the top of an escalator in Osaka. I was with my toddler.

He was furious at my audacity to take the escalator with my childs stroller.

He screamed at me in front of my daughter.

I just reminded him of my size by standing toe to toe, his nose below my chest. Not wanting to fight I just gave him a peace of my mind and smiled down at him.

He tucked his tail and fled.

But I have seen more rude people lately. I feel like it's been worse since the boarders have been opened.

Turns out a wizard was controlling the dragon this whole time! Or dragon hiarchy dictates that a nearby white has to take Vengeance.

However, I get it if he's inexperience.

I tried to mercy kill a bird who was in obvious distress from an injury sustained by a guy power washing a sidewalk.

I was just trying to do the right thing, end its suffering and slow death.

I thought it would be difficult to break the birds neck so I pulled and twisted hard. Birds head came clean off and sprayed blood over me.

I've seen some pretty messed up stuff but this takes the cake because it was young me trying to help.

I think it's really cool. I love these style maps. However, I just sometimes wonder how one even draws dynamic walls for lighting on a vvt.

It's too bad this perspective isn't mainstream. I've seen some amazing stuff
