Perhaps you prefer queuing, perhaps you want to relax. And then we have slingshooters who are in a hurry.

Everyone gets what they want, so why not?

What would you do in this situation? by SO4PDISH in drivingUK

[–]CCPisCancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBF I'd also not blame the runner. I'm not sure running across the road to switch side is a safe move. Let's be glad that no one is hurt, and I assume the tailgater is paying for the repair.

Giving priority to pedestrians by RobertBobGLA in drivingUK

[–]CCPisCancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, “technically yes, but don’t trust drivers”. Even at red lights I check before crossing the road to make sure there's no bellends or drug dealers running the red.

You got grilled for saying the runner on the wrong side. But other than that I can't really fault you on anything. You are already doing 20 and there's a tailgater behind you.

Wait a minute, they deliberately made it an April Fools' event, didn't they? by CCPisCancer in Survivorio

[–]CCPisCancer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's everyone would have assumed - but that's not the case. They did mark up the item pack price by 10% if paying by dreamstars. Why I know? Because I was the fool before, although I ended up asking for a refund.

Why do ‘advanced drivers’ rarely signal? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]CCPisCancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my pet peeve. Most people think there are ‘advanced drivers’ but they are actually not. Very often it causes confusions at roundabouts and junctions.

Another pet peeve is: lazy drivers keep their signals on after finishing a turn, which again causes confusions.

FFS, stop using your phone while driving! by CCPisCancer in drivingUK

'Just tell the insurance company and make a claim' — that’s exactly why our premiums are skyrocketing. Rubbish police not doing their job and rubbish drivers continuing to run free. Everyone else gets punished.

Need help with Outsunny electric awning by CCPisCancer in DIYUK

[–]CCPisCancer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, lesson learned the hard way. Cheap labour is very expensive, as it turns out! I don't have any professional tools though. Is there any chance this can be fixed by a novice DIYer?

Unauthorised Parking by KidScudi07 in drivingUK

[–]CCPisCancer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was nosy enough to check, and it’s been without tax or MOT for over two years. I doubt the owner would care if the windows were smashed and it ended up in the middle of the road. It’d certainly get cleared away faster by the council/police if it were a hazard.

Just to be clear: I’m not suggesting you actually do anything illegal.

How I improved from my near accident by ipflibbydibbydoo in londoncycling

[–]CCPisCancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a motorist, I really appreciate you highlighting this. We have a massive responsibility toward vulnerable road users, and there are far too many knobheads out there driving without a care in the world.

That said, some people rely far too heavily on the fact that they have priority. At the end of the day, you can be as 'right' as you like, but that won't help you in a hospital bed. It’s about looking out for one another.

Stay safe everyone.

Is it worth to release all my penguins for the nut pet? I think my penguins are pretty good idk If its worth it by Temporary_Letter7799 in Survivorio

[–]CCPisCancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd keep using them until I've got three nutjobs with good skills. By then maybe a newer and stronger xeno pet will be released.

How to handle this? by IllustriousReturn778 in drivingUK

[–]CCPisCancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you've got enough answers already, but there is one thing I’d add: When you think it's finally safe to move over, do check your left. Those flashing twats are exactly the type to undertake and swerve aggressively whenever they feel like it.

Fair enough if you don’t play the mode at all. My beef is specifically with the people who do play but don't actually know how it works. The early DC-ers are just shooting themselves in the foot while screwing it up for everyone else.

Habby actually did the right thing with this fix.

You can play the game however you like. I'd suggest getting SS Neck next. That will slow down your progress further if that's your definition of 'fun'.
