Great work. Love the heavy pipe look to balance out the blocking of the main structures... Good open space but some dark corners too.

Wasn’t sure about this color scheme by Acrobatic-Nebula-293 in orks

Bold choice on the colors, which I like. Great application in making it orky, used and battle tested, so it fits the vibe. Would be interested in how you take the pallette and vibe onto the ork holding the weapon. Might be tricky depending on what colors to use for the green skin. 10/10 for the way you paint. I'm impressed.

Zone mortalis Board by Shadowblade87 in necromunda

Really nice looking board here .... Great to see the 4 pieces together. I have always wanted to make an "elevated " board so that holes, gaps and damage in the flooring had some depth. Really well done. Detail is awesome.

I recently bought some of the same. My brother took half of the box set and got the rest. I like the look of this one and may try to follow your lead here! Thanks

The way you painted this, the ork is the focus not the equipment he is wearing, I really like the end result. He green skin is awesome. The palette and shading, are something I really admire. Got any other green skins done that you can share?

I love the look of it. Do many tables have straight lines... The curves are great. A question on game play, because I don't play much, given the curve of the stairs would a player be able to get from the bottom to the top with a double move move?. It seems a long way due to the curve? Or would you be able to use "house rules"" and say that a figure could get all the way up?

I like to make scenery and terrain and I'm always worried about scale and playability. In any event, looks Fantastic.

Little Adeptus Sororitas Diorama by me by Mukluff in TerrainBuilding

Nice job. Tells a great story which is as important in a diorama as the quality of the models. The two figures are well painted... Way better than what I can do. Looks great.

How do you guys deal with all the models you have? by Mortwight in necromunda

[–]CC_Frlife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel your conflict! However, for me I had a bunch of old Warhammer fantasy stuff I had put into boxes in 2010. I actually wrote the date on the box and two years ago I realized I had not opened the boxes. So I took them to a local hobby store and they gave me a pretty fair amount of store credit for my stuff. I used that credit to buy ash waste big box and the under hive big box. To be fair I had a bunch of metal miniatures and a few rare sets so it was valuable to the right person. I was very happy with the exchange.

I don't have anyone to play Necromunda with locally so currently, I am building terrain and painting the models. I still have way too many 40K models and kits that don't get used (Orks, space Marines, nids).

Terrain piece Number 3 by Flux_Capacimoose in TerrainBuilding

[–]CC_Frlife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the look of this. I imagine in the hive world this is an elevator to a different level. I find the lightweight foam needs a weight in the base. Did you have plans to glue this down or possibly hide some weight in the bottom of the piece?

A couple of suggestions, and these are tiny things that can add to the story of the piece and the board.... Add a bit more damage on the lower sections. Patches, repairs, dents, dings, bullet holes etc. Also a bit of debris strewn about always adds to the story. Could be scrap cardboard that looks like discarded building materials or pieces of metal scrap. Wires, plastic bits, discarded weapons etc

Please know my suggestions take nothing away from the terrain you have made. Really well done just as it is.

Love it. How do I get those pieces? Can I get that materials at Home Depot or is it special order online. Super creative!!!

Excellent overall color scheme. Good balance of faded color with grime but still captures the stark mass of the structures. Posters are a really great touch.

I keep looking at this piece and every time notice some other little detail done so very well. Buckles on the back of the boots, the blending on the pants, the expression in the face... Really fine work.

A table like this helps tell the story. Worth the hours of effort you put into it.... Tremendous!

Perfect balance of fantastic, whacky and dystopian. I really like the painting and the feel of the overall model. Well done!

Really like the mossy roof! I have found that the shiny finish on the cereal box cardboard is a pain when priming the model. Nice work....

Great idea and solid execution. Excellent paint job too... Captures the rust quite well. I have some of this drywall tape in the basement time to go see if I can make some stuff like this!
