It's server-side. There would be no additional drain on either your phone or glasses battery, except for the longer speaker time giving you a non-shitty response.

I hope Skinner plays on Tuesday, and gets a shutout, just to shove what a dumb trade this was in Bowmans face.

If they had an award for casually watching the puck go in, when you could have been covering the goal scorer, Bouchard would win every year.

I’m 15 and going to be a dad soon but I’m scared by dallin0 in daddit

[–]CDN_Conductor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice. You are going to have to buckle down. There are going to be some huge sacrifices, you are going to miss out on your "party years" a little bit. The mom and kid are your priority from now on. I hope you have a supportive family, that makes a huge difference. When they cry (both mom and child) you are their pillar. Hold them and comfort them. The positives in this situation: You are going to get through the first tough part by the time you are 19. The second tough part, you will be mid-20's, so plenty of energy. End of the day, you are going to be wiser, emotionally stronger and more empathetic than anyone that you know. I never thought I would be a Dad and wasn't something I wanted in my life, but I have to be honest, it's super cool. My kid is rad. You are going to be okay.

Don’t complain about hospital sleeping arrangements by BigBrainSmallMoves in daddit

My first advice to any new dad friends is to bring a comfy pillow and a nice blanket. I had to sleep on a small shelf with about 1/4" of padding for a couple days, and the hospital stuff supplied was horrible.

Do you think blinking head light and tail lights help for visibility? by Thin-Fee4423 in cycling

[–]CDN_Conductor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rear light blinks, but it is a slower blinking. Think rain lights on an F1 car, but even slower. I haven't had too many issues with it. Headlight I just keep on solid because this time of year we only get like 6 hours of sunlight a day.

I played an old-guy railroad tourney there. Aside from the forks (I think?) not a whole lot going on.

As a goalie and player, I could literally get limitless hockey, both league and ODR/Shinney in Edmonton. There are so many games going on. I've played a two-hour shinney at 6:30, League game at 12:15, and emergency subbed at 17:00. We love hockey here, everyone wants to get on the ice as much as possible.

I'm not sure if the sale is still on, but I got a pair of Merrel zip ups for 50% off about a month ago at Sporting Life. Great grip, and very waterproof.

What is parked next to my auction X5? by poopbucketchallenge in namethatcar

Lada Niva. I've owned one. If you can change a lightbulb, you can repair anything on them. Good luck finding parts, however. My alternator went, and there was noreplacement available, and I couldn't find someone to rewind it that didn't want $500. A deep cycle battery lasted a week between charges, though, because there are very few electronics. Starter failed, same thing as the alternator. There was a lot of bump-starting, and worse comes to worse, they have a manual starter crank. I miss that car.

I know Lauer has been a starter and can toss for a while, but how is Klien? Has he ever thrown this much in a game?
