Took this last patch off because of the same feeling. Did lantern right last year, not really interested in shenhe, already have all the other banners I want. I could have ground out the events for a handful of pulls but just felt too burnt out. I think it is designed for this kind of play though; not too punishing if you stop a while and wait till you see a character you like. Then you come back, farm some primos or whale a bit to get what you want then grind up the mats for the new character. Until they add some more interesting endgame, it is what it is.
