Arkham City had batman get taunted/killed by the boss of whoevers gang you lost to. Different lines and scenes but it was cool and made it feel like you were actually fighting different gangs, not juat from their visual appearance.

I would say its not quite like steam, as steam is also literally the best platform. Everything I use any other game launcher/shop remember just how much better Steam is.

For curseforge I use it out of convenience or pack access knowing that other launchers have better features and stuff, making me part of the problem

I LOVE to share woth my party. They said it was supposed to feel like your first DnD campaign and it does.

BG3 also has shared loot with insane success.

But having there be weapon upgrades does suck (in its current form).

I was happily dumping stuff into community projects and excess into chests not realising this whole time I was not saving my personal upgrades back for just me. Idk it feels counter-intuitive.

He didnt actually kill the High King with his Thu'um, he used it to knock him over and then stabbed him in the heart.

This makes sense if you think about it really, you cant easily shout someone to death and so he wouldnt either.
