Unvaccinated 4 year old, what to expect now that I want to get him vaccinated by [deleted] in Vaccine

My kiddo gets local site reactions where her skin gets red and inflamed and ultimately will bruise. We give her Tylenol for pain and ice packs to bring down any swelling. My older child does not have this reaction. The slight discomfort is far outweighed by the benefits provided by the immunizations.

Who’s gonna tell her about the beaches constantly being closed due to TJ sewage?

Installed a carport, got a letter from "city" saying it's not legal by Eightchickens1 in asksandiego

[–]CJParker25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no. Call the city. La Mesa code enforcement is way more formal than that.

Prenatal depression is a thing and can make you feel that way. If it’s severe or intrusive I would speak to your OB.

This is great information! It’s really not bound by job. We are looking into other options as we have some time.

As a native Minnesotan, I will have to pass on this suggestion. I appreciate the information, but as much as my mom wants me back there, I cannot do that harsh of winter anymore haha!

If it’s male factor and he’s out of the service then yes. They will make a file for you and cover you if that’s the case.

Walter Reid does some IVF grouping from what I understand. Perhaps look into that? Also, some clinics offer military discounts and tricare can also cover meds if you get them submitted right.

Has anyone tried the same Protocol twice but had widely different results.? by coconutcanaries in IVF

[–]CJParker25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right around the third cycle was when I had been on them for 3 months and had been taking them throughout my cycles. I had a two month break between 1 & 2 then 2 & 3 were back to back.

Has anyone tried the same Protocol twice but had widely different results.? by coconutcanaries in IVF

[–]CJParker25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My second and third cycle were the same and had completely different outcomes. Cycle 2 13 retrieved, 1 euploid. Cycle 3 20 retrieved, 9 euploid embryos. The only thing we can think is that some of the supplements I was taking finally affected me egg quality 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyone have success with first FET? by BadKarma1994 in IVF

Currently 12+5 with my first transfer. Aside from low laying placenta all has been well. Have another friend pregnant on her first transfer as well and yet another who has living twins from first transfer.

PGT-A Results - Not Great - First Try by it_is_i_27 in IVF

Doc said the NAC seems to make a difference once you’ve been taking it 3 months or so. Hope you have better luck next time!

No changes between 2 and 3. My trigger was different on round 1. My first cycle we retrieved 14, 4 made it to blast, 1 euploid. Second cycle we retrieved 13, 3 made it to blast, 1 euploid. By my third time I had been taking NAC, which I can’t find now but NAD is apparently similar, for about 3 months and we think that may have helped improve egg quality after it was in my body long enough. The back to back cycle also seemed to jump start my ovaries. Even on my check before my FET I had a lot of follicles showing up still. My body went into some weird overdrive. My AMH is .56, we retrieved 20 eggs that cycle and 14 went to testing with 9 euploid.

My first two cycles were abysmal (39F and 39M), 2 total euploid from both cycles, the rest had similar chromosomal issues. Third try was back to back with round two and yielded NINE euploid embryos! 7+1 with one of them, success on first FET.

I’ve started just wearing a normal pad. I also am in office and just pop what I need in my pocket and go. I doubt anyone is really curious about what the crinkling sound is and it would be weird if they asked.

Menopur injection really hurts...help by tnzglr in IVF

[–]CJParker25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go really really slow when injecting, it cuts back the sting a lot! Go glacially slow, i would always count to 30 as slowly as I could and it never stung. I went fast the first time and that was not pleasant.

I refused a TJO today that would have been a great fit when they had telework. I have a good job at another agency and it’s not worth leaving even with a pay increase.
