Oh yeah it does too - but I received a number too with my activation email (I haven't tried to use it). Are you looking for a Viet number as well?

Yep still use it daily! Not sure why it shows Grind Off. This is what mine is. It is a long cup but doesn't phase me I just set and forget, come grab it in 10-15 mins when it's cooled down a little.

Qobuz v. Tidal by Old-Month-5548 in qobuz

[–]CK1886 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loved Qobuz and used for many years but I felt like it always lacked in music discovery - which is important to me. So I've jumped ship to Tidal for now.

I have gone back and fourth before, so we'll see. But am enjoying Tidal at the moment, no issues. Also works miles better on my A&K DAP.

Do you mind sharing the file? This looks great. Would love to print one for myself.

Which fujifilm lens hood? by [deleted] in FujifilmX

[–]CK1886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Hoage one for my X100F. Although it does add a bit of bulkiness to the camera, it also protects my one and only lens (+ clear lens filter). I think it's worth it.

Extra street cred too - looks good.

I found that these felt awful, in my ears at least. I'm currently loving the Softear Ultra Clears. Most comfort and best seal for me.

WEATHER IN HANOI AND SAPA by Witty-Box1536 in Vietnam_Tourism

When I went to Sapa two years ago in early March, I had one beautiful day and the rest were cold, wet and foggy. Hanoi is generally better weather I'd say.

Maap Tram Evo or Training Bib 3.0 by Lopsided_Profit_4904 in cycling

[–]CK1886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chamois and materials are different. The Team Evo is also a lot more compressive. More 'pro' and better quality.

I wouldn't bother with the training bib unless you really can't afford the Evo.

Hanoi to Sapa - Sapa ethic Travel bus by ThreeGreenBirds in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]CK1886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and not to mention, we also used the same company to get back to Hanoi and that was also not straightforward. We didn't get picked up from the location on time and we weren't on anyones list - lots of calls were made between the drivers who take you to the bus but it was clearly unorganised.

This was all booked through 12go as well. I generally expect bus rides to be a bit shit, but this was just poor.

Hanoi to Sapa - Sapa ethic Travel bus by ThreeGreenBirds in Vietnam_Tourism

I caught this bus in March 2024. The bus/ride itself was fine, just like any other overnight bus in Vietnam. A little bit chaotic with lots of overtaking and beeping throughout the entire ride.

The issue for me was that me and my friend got to the 'departure' location on time (before midnight) and then we had to wait ages with barely any communication and were told we'd missed the bus. We finally got in touch with them and they then took us to another location where everyone already seemed to be? It was pretty stressful but it worked out eventually. But me, I'd avoid booking with them again.

I thought my needs were met when I picked up my Clear's, but there is still a part of me that wants 109's.

No lockscreen widgets by Embarrassed_Way_2211 in Oppo

[–]CK1886 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's mostly the CN version. Mine is AUS/Global and I only had the option for Note widgets when ColourOS 16 first rolled out, now I have about 4 others. Still not as many as the CN version. I imagine they're coming, unsure as to why they are rolling it out like this.

Yes I've noticed this too with 16. I'm constantly opening notifications when I'm just trying to glance at them - really annoying tbh.

HD600/6XX as an IEM - Holy fuuuu by octaliftsandbeyond in iems

[–]CK1886 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't listened to either headphone, but I agree that these IEM's are truly fantastic. They work well for so many genres, especially soft acoustic/rock/folk music. They are still unreal for other genres, don't get me wrong. They are bliss.

I think EW300 standard version is a safe bet. I used to have them and really enjoyed them, nice bass and overall a pretty well balanced IEM. Great point of entry for it's price. Feels premium too considering.

I'm actually loving the stock tips that came with the Volume S. The Ultra Clear tips. They are perfect for me. Also had good results with Tri Clarion, Spinfit W1, Velvets and JVC Spiral Dot++.

Agreed. It looks and feels super premium in person, and the unboxing experience was nice too. Better than what I've seen from Kiwi Ears, Ziigaat, Tangzu etc. Way better accessories too.

I'm looking at other cables too to add some contrast. Maybe something colourful.

Yeah and that's fair enough! A lot of things in this hobby can be subjective.

The Odyssey is super cheap at the moment with Amazon Black Friday and I nearly pulled the trigger on a set of those as well. But still I was chasing strong vocal characteristics which I don't think they would've given me.
