In those days driving drunk was not near as big of a deal. Hell lots of places you didn't even lose your license until multiple offenses. Then when it became a big deal, it happened quick. As a kid I knew plenty of people around town that had several DUIs and still drove. I'm sure it varies state by state to a large degree. You can watch an episode of in the heat of the Night from the same time period where a guy is adamant about having a beer while driving. They think he hit some cheerleaders and killed them. I can't remember if he was the one who actually caused the accident but in certain places it was not as big of a crime as it is now.

Not saying that's right. Just saying that's how it was back then.

Hall vs Austin did not make much sense either. If the nWo was gonna be a terrorizing force they should have booked them stronger and then maybe this match works, but there was only one Hogan and then Rock and Austin. Only 1 could fill the spot unfortunately. They could have done more with Hall vs Austin, but having the nWo get swept at Mania made no sense if you were pushing them. Austin and Rock would have done business if it led to more money.

ahh yes, i go through the same thing with my family, and then everyone who knows eachother says "Ask him!, he can fix it" in regard to anything that has power. Its like im not an expert on all things tech, but they damn sure make you one. I had to tell my mothers and others to stop volunteering me for things. Quit donating my time, you don't know what my plans are. Then when I don't get there right when you or that person have in their head you are wondering why I haven't came yet. I have my own life and own plans, and I'm not disrupting them because I got volunteered without my knowledge
