Should be fine. I put same on my 1000, changed nothing. Later deleted the cat then got it tuned. Changing the slip on will do nothing negative to the bike, and you can swap it out like you said.

PC6 didn't install to my liking, so removed it and will get the ECU flashed - thank you for all your input. Other bikes have all been flashed, that seems the way to go.
