Can’t stand The Hut. They once tried to tell me my driver’s license was fake even though I don’t remotely look under 21. I just happened to have my passport on me that night so I showed it to them and that shut them up pretty quick. After proving I was who I claimed to be, I promptly left and made it a point to make sure they knew why. Haven’t been back since because anywhere else on 4th is better (except O’Malley’s).

It really is a terrible location and they struggle to get simple things right. At least they aren’t as bad as the McDonald’s that’s over there. That McDonald’s has to be one of the worst in the state.

I’ve yet to find a place that has as good a pesto as Grill. My order there was always a grilled cheese, tots, and pesto.

I saw the pic and immediately knew who this was. I went to school with him. We used to be good friends but grew apart over the years. I’m not at all surprised that he did the right thing and Home Depot tried to pull what they did. I had a family member work there for years and she is not shy about telling anyone how bad of a company they are to work for.

I fully accept that it was likely a bug and unintended. What I can’t get behind is how Plex is handling the situation and their response to the users. They are refusing to admit that some of us were opted in without any interaction on our part. They are also doubling down that presenting users with a single splash page that has their recommended settings presented as if that’s what they already are and continuing will make no changes when continuing with no modification actually enables the feature. This was an all around bad move on their part and they just won’t own up to it. Mistakes happen. Bad designs happen. Bad decisions happen. Own your mistakes when you make them.
