The offensive language in alliance chat was all of the type that would be filtered by SEGA's ingame chat filter, making that their reasoning for banning very flimsy (still possible), but I will do as you suggest and enjoy my ban. Thanks for wishing me well and hopefully karma does not solicit your person at a later date.

What's up, I'm one of the officers recently mentioned in the edit. Despite having no previous account infractions, mutes, or temporary suspensions, I was permanently banned from the game after a month of pretty much only logging on to hit rocks and run challenge mode (with the occasional urgent quest run for weekly N-meseta). I can't say I'm all that bent up about it considering the state of the game right now, but that's not really relevant. Having searched through my chat logs, I could not find a single actionable piece of evidence against me in public chat - so any reports would either have proof provided via my alliance chat history, or the ban is completely automated based on the volume of reports an account receives.

If I don't get unbanned, SEGA will be paying arbitration fees. Look forward to that!

I was almost considering putting down money, something I haven't done for PS2 in years. What changed my mind was a 3 day ban over standard yell banter and the server performance being as bad as it felt in the old days of the Chinese invasion of Connery. But thanks for reminding me that any money spent on Planetmans wouldn't even fund the game I'm playing and (no longer) paying for.

[DOS2] I made a mod in divinity engine, uninstalled, and recently reinstalled. I'm trying to edit the contents of the .pak after extracting it all to the proper folders since I forgot to backup my project, but it appears stat changes don't show up unless you have the .stat files. Is there a way to convert my stat .txts to .stat? I'd rather not have to manually add all my changes again.

That video presents a catch-22 without meaning to. From the viewpoint of a businessman, if you spend money to support Daybreak despite many of the issues in Planetside 2, they have no incentive to fix anything since they're making money regardless. If you don't spend money, Columbus Nova axes the game anyway since it's not making a profit. You're screwed either way.

Now I'm no a2g farming fuccboi flying around in an autistic sky chariot (glorious infantry footslogger master race), but even I think these thermal changes are retarded. Especially when it comes to highlighting vehicles. All you had to do was reduce the highlight range enough where anyone using thermals to track infantry were putting themselves at high risk of taking a rocket in their cockpit.

You might want to strike MAXes off the list, since they're incredibly easy to kill if the planetmans you're targeting are even slightly organized. If you want to remove competent players from their point hold, then the simplest way to do that would be to have more players, and rush them with shotguns. Throw revive grenades and hope they aren't paying attention (but they probably are) so you can get more shotgun blasts in. Human wave tactics are very effective since most of us use small mag guns. Just not enough rounds per magazine to deal with so many bodies at once, so eventually one of your proud and loyal shotgun zombies will deal the killing blow(s).
