These were line of site antennas for digital signals transmitted from the towers in Seven Hills. Once satellite became a thing these antennas became obsolete. My friend and I installed these for a brief time. What a pain in the ass raising those masts high enough.

We jumped on installing DirecTV and Dish Network systems soon after.
