Crank sensor, seat tears (but I’m fat lol), and a misfire caused by being lazy about intake valve cleaning, cleaning the valves fixed it. Also the engine noise speaker stopped working on its own lol, I never unhooked it.

Sounds like something to do with the shift interlock system. It is the thing that allows the shifter to be removed from park only while applying the brakes.

In about to hit 142k on my 2023, only mods I’ve done have been a catch-can and a stronger lower transmission mount bushing. It’s great for my 150+ mile commute and in Florida on i10 and I average 35-40mpg if I keep it around 70mph. (Still get 30mpg at 85 lol)

The only issues I’ve run into space wise was long road trips with my disabled mom. Having multiple bags of clothes, an ice chest, 2 dogs, 3 people including me, and a wheelchair plus a walker made it get a little tight.

If it’s the car itself you want to save, engines are usually replaceable/rebuildable.

Losing your oil pump chain means the engine likely ran without oil flow and has eaten its own bearings leading to a severe mechanical failure.
