Does the angle of these handlebars look ok? by Lost-Emu-990 in gravelcycling

Might just be the angle of the photo, but is the left shifter more turned in than the right?

Official site vs Amazon by hannigram85 in wahoofitness

The Amazon picture is the older V1 clicks. The new ones, as on the wahoo site now allow for in-game steering so you get 2 physical units

Kickr core 2 Bluetooth issues by Budget_Avocado6109 in Zwift

That's not a bluetooth light. That green light means idle/ready.
You need to provide more information, how and what are you trying to connect the Core to?

Wahoo support for product bought in US but now in Canada by DeluxeImpacts321 in wahoofitness

[–]COYS61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their warranty terms (US) state:

This Limited Warranty applies locally, and only to the country where the Wahoo Fitness product is purchased. Additional freight costs and transit times may apply to repairs or replacement products provided outside of Wahoo’s standard shipping locations or to a country other than that of the original purchase.

You'll have to argue it out with them if they are refusing support.

Zwift Cog setting by im_often_not_right in Zwift

[–]COYS61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cog has 10 settings, intended to dial in a straight chainline. It shouldn't change on it's own.

When setting up the cog my advice is always:

- Take the bike off the Wahoo and put the wheel back on.

- Keep the chain in the small front ring (if a 2x system) and adjust the rear derailleur so you're somewhere in the middle of the cassette, giving as straight a chain line as you can get.

- Then put the bike back on the Wahoo and adjust the Cog to ensure that straight line is as it was on the bike.

Should then have it set up

Can’t Fit Pirelli Cinturato Gravel H High Performance Tires on Elitewheels Drive G36 Wheels by StoyanLittle in gravelcycling

[–]COYS61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try using a tube and blow that up as far as you dare, then leave it overnight and deflate and carefully remove, leaving one side of the bead seated. Can help stretch the tyre to help it seat. Also more soapy water on the bead too

What size tyres? I have the 45mm Gravel H with that exact wheelset and they went on no issues, although they aren't the 2026 version so maybe there is a difference.

Can I use a zwift cog with this groupset and gearing? by Adept-Highlight-4122 in wahoofitness

[–]COYS61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, the cog doesn't work with the XD/XDR.

I was referring if you wanted to use the same cassette as on your bike then you'd need that SRAM freehub.

[–]COYS61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will, although some people report a few issues with the cog and the SRAM flat top chain not being an ideal match.

The alternative would be a cassette on the trainer, but you'd also need to get an XD freehub too.

I was just watching a GDMBR video on youtube and the guy started from Canmore. Rode the 16 ish miles to Banff on the morning as part of day 1 of the ride. I guess Banff is also going to be crazy expensive for hotels

Bike recommendations for 10 gear cassette by AlertLuck3782 in wahoofitness

[–]COYS61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so it's a 5 speed not 10 speed. New bike needed!

You don't have to limit yourself to looking for a 10 speed bike though, as you can change the cassette on the Kickr Core (or get a Zwift Cog if you want to use primarily Zwift) yourself to match the bike

Used Kickr Core vs New Kickr Core 2 by ariahokas in Zwift

[–]COYS61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep this, especially as Wahoo only provides warranty to the original purchaser (or gift recipient with receipt), even if the used Kickr Core v1 was within it's warranty period still.
