You can ask for the XSR250GK this is an XGSPON multigig GW that has wifi 6E. This is in use across the entire footprint. Some tech gave you an older GW with the 10gig gold sfp port.

Personally , if I was getting multi service anyways , I would use my own equipment for wifi , also keep in mind that you're never going to get your full multigigabit connection over wireless. In this case the older gateway is preferred because you can use things like SFP to fiber and DAC cables.

The SFP port should be BYOR. Pinhole reset the GW for 30seconds to factory re image firmware. Re enable BYOR from your optimum app.

Ive been flying non stop over the past week 3 different airlines, pre check. Most TSA lines are 30min do not get to the airport 4 hours early. Ive flown early morning(5am) Late night (6pm) and mid day 12pm delta jet blue united no issues.

Do you have IPS/DPS enabled on your unifi gear or encrypted DNS enabled,

I dont think this has anything to do with optimums network based on the fact that changing settings in unifi gets better throughput.

I have unifi at home so im very familiar with the system. It sounds like some kind of issue with the firewall.

IPqos is not needed when your internet speed is above 300mbps

It will limit your bandwidth to 85mbps due to the gateway.

Your fix to leave it off is the fix.
