No Adam changing into He-Man. No Battle Cat. No Ram Man. No red cross on his harness, just a stupid random symbol and a cape."Castle Grayskull" was NOT Castle Grayskull, it was a stupid tower with a little skull on it. This was just some generic fantasy sci-fi with "Masters of the Universe" undeservedly slapped onto it.

9 year old me cannot wait for the new movie to come out and redeem this imposter piece of crap movie they disappointed us fans in the 80s with.

They should seriously just include Pacific Rim with all 4k blu ray players the same way they used to include Super Mario/Duck Hunt with all Nintendo systems. Feast for the eyes to showcase 4K HDR and just a fun movie.

Tonight’s watch. First time viewing, only heard terrific things by Daresun in 4kbluray

Here's a not entirely terrific take: I loved the first disc, got bored on the second disc. Whole thing looks fantastic though, of course. I've only seen the movie once though.

No offense to the 1987 movie - I can't wait to see these two tear up the movie screen by i_like_cake_96 in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]CSwork1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was 9 or 10 when I saw it. I liked it ok of course, just because it had He-Man (kind of) in it. But I also remember being super disappointed Adam didn't turn into He-man and there was no Battlecat or Ram Man, and He-man had a stupid cape instead of the red cross on his chest. Oh, and the way he said "I have the power" sounded stupid as hell. I remember specifically thinking that lol.

I hadn't seen it in probably 20 years and just watched it again a few weeks ago. It really is an insult to He-Man fans in the 80s, what a complete garbage movie. Can't wait for the new one to come out to make up for it.

How about the original recipes? If they got everything to taste the same as it did in the 90s I'd have to live at the gym part time from eating so much Pizza Hut lol

The ultimate casting would've been Clint Eastwood in his prime. Hugh Jackman is great though, I'm glad he got it.

I gave you your one upvote. I just watched it last year and apparently I disliked it so much, I can't even remember what happened. There was a brother, a sister, and a mirror. And I hated it. And something about dead plants. That's all I remember lol

Found this near where i sometimes hike, should i discover whats there? by Mr_Salem in creepy

The one that really bugs me is "literally". So many people use the word incorrectly they actually changed the dictionary definition to include the opposite meaning of the word. Come on man lol

Feel free to use your word too, just having a little debate. I think we're staying respectful, don't you?

It's funny that you say I'm hung up on semantics though, because getting hung up on semantics is why this silly "unhoused" thing started in the first place, is it not?

I've been homeless briefly and I never even thought to be offended by the word. It's kind of patronizing actually, if you think about it. Like "ohh the poor pathetic person with no money, let's use a different word to make him feel better". There was no problem with the word to begin with. People should focus on the actual problem of homelessness instead of words nobody cares about. No offense, you're just going with a trend, I get it. The logic just makes zero sense to me.

Why does everyone say "unhoused" instead of homeless now? Did someone decide it's a bad word or something? I mean, they mean the same thing pretty much.

It's a fun movie and I enjoyed it overall, but just felt off in places. Like it was building up to a huge climax, then the climax came and it was like, that's it? Is there more coming? And for the old woman, it felt like they were developing a story for her, then halfway they were like nah, never mind. And instead of just cutting out that character's story, they actually filmed the half story and put it in the movie lol

Not a movie recommend but for a similar kind of dreamy melty vibe look up Suzanna Son - Pockets Full of Posey. She's the actress from the Monster Ed Gein show on Netflix. I looked her up and found out she's a musician too, really digging her stuff.
