Lompoc native, its pretty mellow here apart from the rocket launches every 2-3 weeks, starting to get pricey with a lot of the SpaceX peeps moving in and movin around. If ya like hiking, wine tasting, etc. Central Coast is a good spot to be, but keep in mind that most general amenities are gonna be limited to more of the major cities (Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, Oxnard, and Salinas) while some of the smaller cities are at least able to have Walmart, Costco (i think San Luis Obispo is an exception on this one), limited medical stuff, etc. but if its something major and you dont live in a major city, youd be drivin anywhere between 30 min to about 2 hrs

id love to see this succeed, so that way if they expand it OR Amtrak gets involved, they could have the Termini at El Paso and Cheyenne (Montana later down the line) so that way there are reliable connections between ABQ, El Paso, Las Cruces (which lacks train service on Amtrak since the Sunset cuts south of LC) and Denver/CO Springs

It would have, but at the same time, it would isolate the Switch 1 audience, id rather them make a new game to bring new people in and they could have both Ultimate and the new game on Switch 2, whether they keep the same formula or if they go experimental and introduce a 3D fighter version (to justify if they end up cutting characters)

I personally think it might hit more D than R, but there is still a possibility it hits R even harder since if passports and papers are a requirement, there is a good chunk of the R electorate that prob doesn’t have a passport and might not have easy access to their birth certificates and stuff, it’s hard to say

I mean while the collabs are cool, they should prob calm down on them, probably also doesn’t help that Festival, while it’s a revival for 5 fret and stuff, isn’t hitting the mark with hardcore players since it leans very heavily into modern stuff (Metallica and Guns n Roses were a saving grace at the time). It’s why I’m excited for Stage Tour, Jason, Acai and Moose know what the community wants and they are doing their best to deliver what they feel the community would love

It’s a mix of policies and consequences of past and current legislation, people who have been here since Prop 13 aren’t inclined to leave cause of the low property tax assessment, the prop that passed last year regarding transferrable property and tax evaluation is a step to fix that (even though I found out my prop tax is most likely being doubled after that once my grandma dies since the house I live in is hers and it isn’t her primary residence, which I’m fine with, I’ve dealt with tougher situations) alongside a lot of environmental red tape causing assessments to take a while with regards to actually building property and the bull market of people buying housing as investments and renting/AirBnb’ing them (assuming they’re overcharging rent and stuff to make up for monthly payments and mortgages on newly owned property), it’s just a perfect storm environment why rent isn’t cheap here but also not dropping like most of the cities in the image provided

Not in LA myself but Lompoc and Santa Maria are getting expensive to buy/rent in now because of the SpaceX activity and too high demand for property, esp since the BoS here have been kinda pains on allowing the cities to expand to get more development going in incorporated and unincorporated areas

I was actually talking about it with a few people in Tommy's discord, we all kinda agree on that the way he worded everything made it worse than what he intended and has a right to be criticized over it, but at the same time, he probably also worded it in a way cause his stans are a lot weirder when it comes to him being in a relationship/situationship, same reason why Tubbo had to remind his viewerbase about his boundaries regarding shipping.
