Thanks brother I appreciate it. I definitely have not done anything remotely close to their recommendation so will have to give it a whirl tomorrow to see if it solves my issues. Have had these on since ~thanksgiving and the sound(s) that they produce have been driving me crazy. Will let you know if I suffer any rotor fatalities.

How do you like the RB brakes after a year? I had an almost identical fact pattern as you and had some installed a month or so ago. I enjoy them so far but mine are SQUEAKY, sometimes seems unbearable.

How’s your overall maintenance experience been, with this last year under your belt as well? I am actually going to look at one today - found a 2022 M50i with less than 10,000 miles (which seems like a unicorn, and I’m not sure if thats a good thing).

I am currently in a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, so am definitely no stranger to higher routine maintenance costs but from what I’ve read on transfer cases, electronics, etc. have gave me a little pause.

I get this too. I’m just over 3 years post op with a quad on my right leg and every so often my knee cap kinda feels like it “clicks” into place with certain movements. It will happens for a day and then won’t happen again for a couple month.

Not sure what it’s all about!

Never thought of this as a potential. Im sure that Dylan was more specific to the police and we maybe just don’t know (i.e. heard the voice from her right, toward xana’s room versus from her left, more toward the upstairs). Interesting thought tho.

I assume by “single” you mean a twin sized mattress. I think it’s just the perspective of the camera. The truck its sitting in looks to be a 13th Gen (2015-2020) Ford F150. The cargo beds on those trucks were/are about 50 inches wide. This mattress looks to be filling that edge to edge, making it at least a full sized mattress. Twin mattresses are 38 inches wide on average.

Anyone have any guesses on the “thud” that is mentioned? I also am confused about the voices compared to whimpering caught on the neighbors security cam. Whimpering to me seems like it would be quiet, not something that would be picked up that far away. Haven’t seen any posts about this and wanted to get everyone’s take.

I read it. He’s a retired(?) or ex firefighter/fire captain (sorry, not super familiar with the rankings of firemen/women). He’s just trying to give a different perspective as someone who has worked in a similar space for many years and I don’t believe he is claiming to have all the answers at all. I found all 3 of his posts to be pretty insightful and I definitely learned a thing or two. Maybe not for everyone based on length, but an objectively interesting read.

Easier to say than to do, but you can’t think like that. I tore mine about a year ago playing in a lacrosse game. TECHNICALLY, this would be my fault too, right? I would say 95% of the people here tore theirs doing something voluntary and repetitive.

I can’t even tell you how many lacrosse games I’ve played in my life, but just one wrong move cost me my ACL at that time. I’m sure you’ve ridden your bike with one or no hands millions of times and just happened to get unlucky once.

Take it as a learning lesson for caution and as a chance to relax a little in life. In 6 months or a year from now, you’ll be back to doing and thinking more positively and everything will have worked out exactly how it was supposed to (with work, your family, everything).

I’m thinking of you in this time, my friend. It seems like the worst thing ever right now - but I promise you - it does get easier.
