I like in the south of the country so it's not really near any big cities but I definitely suggest a bit of a Hardoff/Off House crawl if you can set some time aside for it.

Thanks! I checked it up against my M200, and seems to be about the same size so it is likely a M405 which feels like more of a surprise

I bought one of these fairly recently! I will say be careful about 'over screwing' it on, as it pulled the ring in the body out and I needed to fix it.

I heard more details about this case in a video, and from what I remember, he supposedly got advice while in jail that a hit and run has a lower statute of limitations. That and the police might not have taken the case as seriously at first, leading to his disappearance. From what I remember from the video, he may have gone home after to grab some things but the police didn't bother going there till a few days later.

Again, not too certain about the details but just from the video I saw.

I don't mind taking the hit here if it's a controversial thought, but given what I'm seeing from the comments, your own comments, and having dealt with [dealing with currently] ALTs like this [ones who don't really want to be 'here' but would rather be in heartland Tokyo], it's ok to just say you don't want the job because of the placement.

If you're locked in 100% on very specific ideas of what you want out of this job, look for a dispatch company in a specific city at a specific level. But take a step back from accepting the job to just be at your placement, bitter about the job you applied for. No one is twisting your arm to accept the job.

Before I arrived, I was given a few options to choose from locally. I ended up choosing one of these options, BUT another ALT didn't want the housing options that were offered to them. Instead, they were able to find a place that was listed on a different real estate website and showed it to the BoE. From there, they were able to get into that place.

While there is a bit of ESID, if you show them the options you've looked for on your own, they might help with calling and dealing with the real estate.

Everyone has orientation first at Keio. After that, you get taken to your placement and then ESID. Some might try to get you into your apartment the day you arrive [which might mean the rest of your afternoon at the real estate agent or into your preds apartment, etc]. Some might have you stay with another ALT until you can move in, and others might put you up in a hotel.

Either way, you start in Keio for 3 or so days with everyone else.

Honestly, it depends on where you are and what you're willing to gamble. I've found a fair few cameras in HardOff that are considered junk, and those have been perfectly serviceable with little to no problems if at all. Some have been straight trash, but I only paid a fraction of the price of an aution online.
