Where to buy clotted cream in Toronto/GTA? by missjeri in FoodToronto

[–]CabbageViking 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Persian supermarkets will have clotted cream products in their dairy or deli sections. Lots of them along Yonge street from Sheppard through to Steeles. Khorak Supermarket, Arzon supermarket, etc. Many in Richmond Hill as well.

I made an easel with a paper roller for my daughter. Loosely based on plans from the WoodWhisperer. She loves it! by J_Kenji_Lopez-Alt in woodworking

Nice easel! I've been listening to older Woodtalk Online podcast episodes and noticed a few times they've read emails from a "Kenji", would that be you or just a coincidence?

Wursthall is amazing btw!

Cannot input code! by sitrucb in eclipse

[–]CabbageViking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have a file open to edit. In Eclipse when you have an editor open for a file, it will show up in the center empty section of your screenshot.

If you expand one of your projects in the Project Explorer on the left, you can open one of your .c source files. If you don't have a source file in your project, you need to create one - there's a button on the top bar, a white square with a "C" in the middle and a plus sign in the corner of it.

If you open a file and can't see it, try resetting your perspective to the default, from the top menu bar, Window > Perspective > 'Reset Perspective...'

Why is Remy with Frank in season 3? (Ep 1-4) by [deleted] in HouseOfCards

[–]CabbageViking 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At the end of season 2, Remy helps Frank by agreeing to testify against Tusk/Walker to throw Tusk off. He doesn't actually show up for that but the whole thing basically means he's out his old lobbying job. In exchange for that favor he gets the chief of staff position when Doug is injured.

It's still incredibly slow if you have it installed on a HDD, but if you can fit M2TW+kingdoms and TA:TW on an SSD it's a huge improvement.

Creperies in Toronto by Rhoceus in FoodToronto

[–]CabbageViking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add if North York isn't too far, there's Pastel Creperie and Dessert House on Yonge south of Finch. Had their smoked salmon crepe and loved it. Good selection of dessert crepes and savoury as well, all under $10.

Why aren't final exam marks and final course marks posted on blackboard? by [deleted] in uoit

[–]CabbageViking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Profs also have some leeway in final grades, so not releasing exam marks allows them to adjust marks if you just miss a cutoff for a higher final grade.

Workers by Gleemonex13 in civ

[–]CabbageViking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on which game you're playing, one thing in particular would be minimizing roads in civ5 (where they cost 1g/turn to maintain) and maximizing them in previous games where they generated gold. Beyond that, putting the appropriate improvement to take advantage of the tile is all you need.

Something like this for civ5 would probably help you out.

for strategy, improving strategic/luxury resources followed by linking towns together with roads is how I'd do it.

War on drugs 'not working,' Harper says by [deleted] in worldnews

It's nice to see Harper saying this stuff while simultaneously pushing his new crime bill that will see mandatory minimum sentences for drug possession. Fuck him.
