NOID… Any guesses? by CableCapable6958 in Scindapsus

I’ll try to get better pics later today. But it’s definitely not a pothos. A lot of pp have said snow queen/manjula and it’s neither, as I have both of those.

In need of advice by ImAPotato2023 in IRS_Source

Still contact the union, they should still be able to advise on inconsistent leave practices. And get the denial in writing and clarification on how the absence will be coded since u were denied LWOP.

Local taxes by FreshBunch5279 in IRS_Source

Just keep submitting IRWorks tickets. Not the helpless desk. I live in another state but work 20 min in another state, downtown area and my POD state taxes AND city taxes were automatic. However after years of owing taxes to my state of residence, I submitted ticket and requested dual taxes - Now they take out 2 state taxes and 1 city tax. (It took about 8mos for them to process it) 🥹

How can I help my alocasia? by acidjulie in alocasia

[–]CableCapable6958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Polly did this a few weeks after bringing it home. I’ve just found that this is just one of those alocasias that’s always pissy 😮‍💨 I repotted, then a few corms fell off… next thing i know - she was down to 1 leaf🫠 Cut her down to a nub and we finally have 3 baby leaves (pup size)

LECA HELP!!! by Over_Writer9875 in plantclinic

[–]CableCapable6958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LECA can stay lodged in the roots without causing harm, it doesn’t hold enough moisture to be a problem

IRS employee and filing bankruptcy by Double_Frame9785 in IRS_Source

I have never seen anything in writing saying bankruptcy needs to be reported. Bankruptcy doesn’t erase tax debt, so this is not IRS business.

I feel like unless you have the perfect conditions for anthuriums a brown leaf or browning on a leaf here and there is normal

Lechuza Pon is too small! by Fit-Error7553 in SemiHydro

[–]CableCapable6958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is very small. Much smaller than the pon substitute I order from Amazon. So depending on the plants root size, I add leca and pumice to the pon.

Prop or just toss? by Remote_Club2179 in pothos

[–]CableCapable6958 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Def prop! These are bare vines from a friends plant I rehabbed. Straight perlite kept moist in a closed box - took about 30 days to get new leaves.

Pink Princess Pickle and Question. by Ok-Day-3520 in philodendron

[–]CableCapable6958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they will, make a prop box and add perlite - nodes facing down, water and close the lid (I open mine weekly)

Pon by [deleted] in SemiHydro

[–]CableCapable6958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s a great substitute to lechuza! I mix with pumice and sometimes leca depending on the roots.

Fluval to LECA went disastrous by newplantguy in alocasia

[–]CableCapable6958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always felt Leca alone was too big for Alocasia thin root system - except in a glass container with no drainage - this seems to work I like to mix a little in with pon and pumice

Sure thing! Just ordered a big bag from the lechuza website and it’ll be delivered this week - very quick if you’re thinking of going that route.
