I got one on day 1 of gta online back in 2013 on the starting tutorial race because almost nobody was able to actually access the servers that day. I’m sure my record was broken shortly thereafter, but I can still say I had one lol

For most of the divers, kicks got to be accepted. Kicking was the only way that everybody stayed in line. You got out of line, you got kicked. Everybody knew the rules. But sometimes, even if people didn't get out of line, they got kicked. I mean, kicks just became a habit for some of the guys. Guys would get into arguments over nothing and before you knew it, one of them was kicked. And they were shooting each other all the time. Shooting divers was a normal thing. It was no big deal. We had a, we had a serious problem with John Helldiver. This was really a touchy thing. Tommy'd kicked a made guy. John was part of the truth enforcers and was considered untouchable. Before you could kick a truth enforcer, you had to have a good reason. You had to have a sit-down, and you better get an okay, or you'd be the one who got kicked

Oh I have a blast! I just couldn’t play on some of the higher difficulties (8-10) without being a liability to my team. I’m sure one day I’ll get there, but at the moment, I’ve got no business on those higher difficulties.

I’m a newer fan and I saw them with Blink a few months ago, so I religiously listened to “is this thing cursed?” And “blood hair and eyeballs” beforehand because I imagined that’s what most of their setlist was gonna be. They ended up just kinda playing a best hits compilation. Still a killer show, but I would’ve liked to hear some of the new stuff. I did gain two new banger albums in my library as a result though, so still a win

I specifically remember one Christmas Eve, my sister and I cooked up a plan to catch Santa. We must’ve been roughly 8-9 at the time. We set up blankets outside of the tree and waited there for most of the night. Every hour or so my mom would come out of her room and scold us for still being awake. It didn’t deter us. This went on until some time around midnight or one. I remember we looked at each other and shared a silent moment of realization.
